No one could muster a "hello" or even any acknowledgment that I was there. While the selection was nice, it all comes down to service. I thought it was a wonderful deal and immediately went to tell my husband, who agreed that I should purchase it. Our vehicle was already full of furniture and other purchases, but because this piece was relatively small, I believed it would fit on top of one of our cabinets. Wanting to be absolutely certain, I went back inside and politely asked if the owner had a measuring tape available. I was told that she could not take the piece apart because there were too many customers in the store and that I would have to come back another day. I explained that we were only visiting the area and lived quite a distance away. By the time I returned outside to speak with my husband, the last customer was leaving. From my perspective, preparing the piece would have involved simply removing a few items from it. I left feeling disappointed that there was no effort made to help complete the sale. My husband and I own an antiques and collectibles business ourselves, and we strongly believe that customer service is extremely important. We have always tried to go the extra mile for our customers because they are the reason a business succeeds. The shop had interesting items, and I truly wanted to purchase this piece, but the lack of customer service left a negative impression. Sadly, this experience cost the store two potential repeat customers.

I would recommend anyone buying online with a credit card to check your bank statements. A woman…read morepurporting to be "Mary" charged my card 4 times for a single box set purchase, and shipped 2 of this item, one that I obviously did not authorize. . It took two weeks and numerous phone that she did not return for her to correct it, and she still would not take responsibility of it or to apologize. Instead, solely for this error that could have been credit card fraud, she denied that it happened and retaliated against me by closing my account. Again, I was not the one committing possible fraud. Snowflake Mary did like hearing of my complaint and their repeated refusal to look into it and respond. I contacted the owner by email about this and he ignored my complaint, which means he approved and condoned of her conduct and the overcharge, If you don't like being overcharged and the hubris of the employee who will not take responsibility, pick another company to buy your music and movies from.
