I like the location of Dr. Phillips, which is where this suite is located. We were greeted by a very nice couple and the lady hairstylist was able to understand what my son was looking for in a cut. Needless to say my son was a happy customer. A little pricey $50.00 for high includes the shampoo, cut, trimming of neck and nose hair( if applicable). Lol, definitely worth the price.

My husband is so particular and she did a fantastic full service for him, as you can see from the photos, I couldn't stop squeezing his face on our wedding day - she made it so soft!! His hair looked great from every angle in our photos. He enjoys the pampering and is always impressed with her professionalism. As for me, I gave her full creative freedom to create a look that suited my features best. The photos speak for themselves. My hair felt secure the whole day, even after being out in the Florida summer sun and sweating on the dance floor till midnite! Makeup was still intact too! I loved my colors and it pained me to wash it off at the end of the night. She's such a talented person. Thank you Andrea, we love every service.

Lovely atmosphere and amiable staff. But I simply did not get the haircut I requested…read more I went in with medium/long hair asking for a simple trim of an inch off the back and another inch off of the top. I wanted maintenance and the bangs out of my eyes. But, I left with a totally different drastically shorter hairstyle that I didn't request. I even specifically told the stylist not to cut the sides since the stiffness of my hair causes it to stick out unless it's long enough to comb back. As you can see from the pic - the sides were cut and now stick-out. The pic also shows that the back is also awkwardly squared-off. So, I'm forced to find another stylist to fix what was done (which will sadly cause me to have an even shorter cut). I estimate it will take 3-4 months to grow back the damage done. My guess is that if you have very short hair that needs periodic maintenance, or, if you want that luxurious barbershop shave and men's spa vibe. This might be a great spot for you. They also have an entire section for mani/pedis that look super comfortable for dudes. So there's that too. But, I can't say it's a place where you'll get the cut you ask for.

After reading reviews I decided to call and book with felix. Off the bad we connected really well. I have never kept such a good convo with someone resembling an old friend the entire time of a cut before. The whole time he was cutting my hair he was giving me tips on how to maintain my look and do a bit if trimming and upkeep on the side (since I mentioned I am pretty familiar with clippers and straight razor). I got a regular cut and shampoo as well as a beard shape/trim which came out to $50. This is a bit to pricey for me to come back often but when I need that cut for a special occasion I know where to go. Everyone from the lady who took my appointment to the girl who che led me out were friendly and extremely professional. If you have the money check this place out... you wont regret it!

I feel misled. I searched for barber shops in Orlando, selected and called J. Christine Barber…read moreshop. I made an appointment for later that day, and when I got there it was nothing like it's represented here. It wasn't a barber shop. It looked like a ladies salon, there was like 10 chairs in a row, and I was the only male there. Everyone was nice, I got a good hair cut, but again, it was not at all what I expected. I saw nothing that resembled the photos they have. Did I do something wrong? Well, I called the phone number listed, showed up, went where they told me, what else was I suppose to do? It cost the same 35$ described, they knew my name and were expecting me, so I was in the right place. False advertising, I feel like I should give them less stars, but it did work out fine so I think 3 is fair.

While waiting for my service (and even during it) I was able to help myself to a quick snack (or two). However, the highlight for me was definitely their hair washing station as the sinks have a very comfortable neck rest and for added comfort they provided me with a rolled up towel to place under my neck and even a step stool for my feet. Additionally, as a first-time client I was able to get a $25 discount, a thank-you note from the owner, a curated bag of Aveda travel products and coupons for my next visit. | Another Legendary Cut at V's Barbershop…read more Some barbershops give you a haircut. V's Barbershop gives you an experience. From the very first visit, I knew this place was something special--but somehow, each visit keeps raising the bar. My first cut was solid. The second? Even better. And today? A game-changer, even with my go-to barber Ky out on a well-deserved vacation. Shout out to Ahmad who stepped in today and absolutely delivered. It wasn't the easiest cut at first, but he stuck with it, listened, adjusted, and even suggested a new style that ended up looking . The end result? Clean, sharp, and exactly what I needed after a long day. The hot towel massage? Heaven. That little touch goes a long way--especially when you've just come off a shift at Magic Kingdom. I had a 4:30 appointment and was seen right on time. No wait. No stress. Just straight into the chair and onto greatness. The location is super convenient--right near MK and close to home for me in Central Florida. That combo is hard to beat. And let's talk about the vibes inside: Walking into V's feels like stepping back in time--in the best way possible. It's like if Babe Ruth and Jack Nicholson opened a barbershop together in the 1920s and hung out swapping stories and trimming fades. It's old-school charm meets modern service. The only thing missing is a speakeasy in the back--and honestly, if they added that, I might never leave. Whether it's Ky, Ahmad, or another talented barber, V's makes getting your haircut something to look forward to. This isn't some cookie-cutter chain where you're in and out in 10 minutes. It's an experience--and I'll forever be a fan. If you haven't been yet, get yourself a booking. Your hair--and your mood--will thank you.
