I…read morefound the Augenzentrum Othmarschen on the website of my heath insurance and was able to make an appointment for the following week online (yey for not having to call!). I arrived at the office on Monday at 9:30 am and was taken care almost immediately by a technician that took measurements of my current glasses and my eyes. After this I went back to the waiting room for ~5 minutes before the doctor called me. I initially had an appointment with Mr. Galambos but ended with Ms. Galambos as she was free at the time. It was no issue for me. She was competent and even offered to do the consultation in French (I didn't take her up on her offer as I need to practice my German). All in all I had very professional service and I was in and out of the office in about half an hour.

Ganz ganz schlechte Beratung. Für Dr. Ziegon 5 Sterne. Für die Ärztin max. 2 Sterne.

I have visited Dr. Von Alt-Shutterheim due to good reviews on Yelp. Besides having an appointment…read morein short time; I can say there is nothing positive about this doctor's office and her treatment style. It is an old office and they keep you waiting for 40 minutes, for the appointment you have arranged in advance and then the doctor claims that you do not have a problem and an optic shop can also measure your myopia, and sends you back home. Then you need to pay €40 to have the measurement of your myopia at an optic shop And these people call themselves a doctor! Congrats...

I didn't go the traditional path of treatment, botox injections around the eye muscles every few months, but opted for neuroplasticity retraining by Dr. Farias in Toronto, Canada. Made the world of a difference. I am not healed (yet), but have a much better understanding of the disease and a brighter outlook that I can heal myself with the help of different techniques and exercises.
