Got to the farm yesterday and found a broken key snapped off in the ignition. After getting the stub out I called Mark to see if we could copy the good key I did have. He made a trip back to his office in 95 degree heat to meet me. He didn't have the tractor company key slug but made 2 different keys, saying 1 of these should work. He spent a good deal of time on this. He said one of the keys was free. I got back to the farm and fired up the tractor. Called Dr Lock for a rekey of my mailbox as I'd lost my key. The technician arrived promptly and began working on getting my mailbox open. Usually these jobs are quick and easy but this was anything but. The tech, Mary, discovered a coworker had borrowed her usual tools and she was forced to improvise with what she had available. After much effort and a couple broken drill bits she was able to drill out my old lock and install a new one. Oh... and I forgot to mention that during all this it began to rain because... of course it did. Many thanks to Dr Lock and their team for coming through. I am completely satisfied with the exceptional customer service and attention to detail I received from Dr. Lock. I went in to have 3 different types of keys duplicated. The keys are over 22 years old. The owner researched the key code numbers found the blanks and cut the key. All 3 types worked perfectly. One of the originals was worn and thin. Dr. Lock took extra time cutting the blank and it works better than the original. In addition, they recommended a certain type of lubricant that made all my locks operate with ease. I recently reached out to this locksmith to the high rating that they had. Upon calling them we called to see if they can cut a lock for us since we had originally called another locksmith in the area and never showed up so they abruptly responded with, "are you sure you need me there because I don't want to drive there for nothing" then I briefly stated that I would contact the other locksmith to not come anymore so he can come and help us and so again he proceeded to say again he wasn't gonna go down there for nothing and said he would charge a fee if we made him drive for nothing. So as I was about to call the other locksmith to not show up anymore he ended up coming so I returned the call to Dr. lock so he wouldn't "waste his time with us" once I did that and stated that we didn't need him to come anymore he just hung up the call and didn't say anything. If you guys are okay with being responded with attitude be my guest but I don't recommend them at all ! read more

What I thought was going to be a nightmare turned out to be very painless. They were very knowledgable about the make of my vehicle which apparently seldom need a programmed key; even though the manual says it does. This saved me a lot of money. They could've easily have overcharged me and I would have never known. The price was more than fair and they made me extra keys as well.
