I had a dental emergency and contacted their after hours service, they came in on a weekend and fixed my problem and kept me working. I am so thankful and Gillette is so lucky to have this dental office in their community. I live in a much larger city and wish we had a dental office this wonderful with emergency services. I was treated with compassion and kindness. The entire staff is friendly, caring and professional. With the help of Dental Hygienist, Cassie, I began to correctly brush and floss my teeth and learned how to use a gum stimulator. Her encouragement and tips instructing me how to care for my teeth and gums turned things around for me. My last appointment showed a great improvement in the health of my mouth. There's a huge problem at this office! Avoid! When I showed up for my 6 month checkup (to a…read morelocked door, by the way), they told me my appt was two hours later. Obviously a mix-up somewhere, but I sit at my computer with the calendar open when making appointments, and always verbally confirm. Regardless, they had the time two hours later. I had a meeting at that two hour mark, so we had a problem. They said I could wait 20 minutes for another hygienist to finish, and so I waited a half hour. At that point, I asked if we could just reschedule. Sure, no problem, they do it. WELL ... then I get a bill for $45 for a MISSED APPT! Tried talking to both the office staff and the dentist, but nope, they won't budge -- even though the appt was rescheduled in person 1.5 hours BEFORE the time they had on their books. Ridiculous! No working with patients, just shut up and give us the money!!! And that's not all ... my husband gets OraCare from them, and half the time when he goes to get it their office is closed up! Sometimes for a week at a time! That's not dentistry, that's a hobby. If you want a real dentist, move on. These are not your people.

Then I had to have a crown done and it took forever before I could get back in to get the permanent crown placed. I'm not happy with the issues that I experienced during the placement of the crown or the sensitivity that I still have in that tooth. He also has too many things going on with his 2nd office opening this year and his holistic medicine. I am going to find a new dentist.

However, recently something changed and the Dr. is much less attentive, the front staff is different every time you go in and the overall practice has shifted to holistic pretend magic. While there is definitely a place for these practices, slowly changing a practice with current clients is slightly underhanded. They are open when they feel like it and not when it is convenient for those of us with regular hour jobs. It took them 4 months to send a bill to us and then they threatened to send us to collections when it took me more than 1 month to pay it. We requested an itemized bill to explain it, rather than just a piece of paper that said "past due forward" that It took them another month to send... which is when they sent the threat of collections. We pre-paid for "orthodontics" and they quit doing follow ups, and even when we did they would half-ass the checkup. The Dr. doesn't show up for every appointment, but they don't charge less for them. The hygienist does the entire exam sometimes. Absolutely do not recommend this dentist office.

I had an absolutely horrible experience yesterday. It was shocking, because I had never had a bad…read moreexperience with Dr. Love before. I always thought he was very pleasant. I don't anymore. Last month, he put a crown on me but didn't do it correctly. The area he left exposed is extremely sensitive and tender. He had to apply some sort of sealant to the area, and it was extremely painful. A bad word slipped out. At that point, he very forcefully said to never swear again or he would refuse to treat me "and then you'd really be screwed." I was mortified anyway, because I'm not that sort of a person, but even when I apologized profusely, he and his assistant were still both very rude and uncaring. I regret not walking out right then and there, because it only got worse from there. I pointed out a tear in my gum right above one of my front teeth that won't seem to heal. He pressed it slightly, and I told him it was very tender. Then, I don't know WHAT he was trying to do, but it felt like he pressed down on it as hard as he could. I can't even quite describe the jolt of severe pain, other than to say it was so bad that I cried out, jerked my head to the side, and pushed his hand away. At that point, he stood over me and started yelling at me, telling me he'd kick me out and never treat me again and bellowed, "I'm being gentle!" At this point I started crying. I tried to explain that it was a reflex, that I meant no disrespect, but they refused to listen and were nasty to me the remainder of the visit, which only lasted about 5 more minutes. I've told them I want a refund so I can get someone competent to fix it. I still haven't heard back on that. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. He shouldn't be treating patients.
