I got there and a large dog raised its head to look at me as I was smacked in the face with the smell of marijuana. Not a big deal, I thought. I looked through a box of chargers and found the exact one I needed. I was stoked. When Shawn went to ring it up, it was $65. Are you kidding me? This charger goes for $32 brand new on the Lenovo website! I asked if he could do anything about the price and he said he'd have to talk to his manager. He went behind a wall, to talk with some woman who's head I could see the top of through a window, and they talked a bit. He came back, essentially said that it was a lot more expensive than he expected too but the owner is firm on pricing. I thanked him for his help and left. I have no problem with Shawn, he was just doing his job. But the lady behind the wall and the owner? Are you serious? How do you justify selling a used laptop charger for twice the price of it brand new? Why did you not come talk to my face instead of making Shawn, who already has a queue of phone screens to fix, run around your store? The worst part is, people have to pay these prices because it is a small town and there's nowhere else to go. Here I am trying to support local businesses and being forced to buy from the colossal corporate dome that is Bezos' shaved head. Absolutely ridiculous.

After my initial consult Tyler had me download all Windows updates on my own so he wouldn't have to charge me. Today, we connected again and Tyler remotely accessed my computer to remove bloatware and turn things off from running in the background. My computer showed an increase in speed after that. First of all I want to just say thank you to Kyle for his dedicated and diligent attention in…read morefixing my Macbook Pro. After receiving my computer back from another Mac repair shop in town and being told that I needed a new logic board or a new computer. Logic board $1500 and used machine along with all of the headaches of losing my data $1200, I decided to get another opinion. Kyle at affordable computer solutions was like a bulldog on a hambone in trying to fix my Mac and get it back to me. He found that the first place had incorrectly installed my charging port and 2 of the 6 pins were bent and preventing my machine from charging. He was able to get them repaired and installed a new charging port for $225. I was so happy and amazed at his unwillingness to give up. I do want to say that first company did refund me for the failed repair. So I am not unhappy with them since they stood by their mistake.
