I have had adjustments as short as 2-3minutes. I never realized how POORLY a job he was doing until I just happened to go to another chiropractor who ,after the initial appointment, took the time to see what my body was telling him and me. Going through and feeling my neck, back, ankles, knees, shoulders wrists, elbows and hips. This takes about 20minutes every time. Dr. Mayhan is just interested in getting you in an out of his office as fast as possible, so he can get as many people through his office to make as much money as possible. Patient Abandonment We hired Busby & Webb to perform…read moreorthodontic treatment on 3 of our family members over the course of 8 years. Our 2 children began having issues with their braces and our family logged 5 emergency visits (2 while on vacation). During a visit the day before our European vacation, their equipment failed again. Our cruise ship did not have a dentist on board, so we texted their office complaining again about their equipment issues and the urgent need to resolve the issue prior to our vacation so our son could eat for 10 days. When we returned from our trip, Busby & Webb dropped both of our children as patients. What compounded the situation further was one of our children was being treated for an emergency gum infection due to their brace's springs installed and we were left trying to find another practice to continue the treatment. Both of our children asked, "What did I do?". Clearly it has left a poor experience with our children in the Orthodontist community. We found another provider, but they highlighted it would cost another ~$5K to finish the work we hired and paid Busy & Webb's office to do. Luckily there are patient protections for situations like this and the NC State Board of Dental Examiners is currently investigating their practice. All of the information above is factual and can be corroborated with the NC Dental Board. Our intention of this review is to help prevent another similar situation to an unsuspecting family at great additional time, hassle, emotion and financial burden.
