They were clear about copayments from the beginning and maintained opened communication with me if anything was needed. Definitely recommend Dr. Preminger's office. I'm glad it was recommended to us.

However, I had a frustrating experience with the billing department regarding an insurance issue prior to a recent appointment. When I called to update my insurance information and provide my new dental coverage details, the billing representative I spoke with was abrupt and initially stated she could not find my coverage information, despite having all the details needed. This caused me distress given my daughter was in pain and our appointment was approaching. While I understand issues can come up, I felt the billing representative could have handled the situation better through more effective communication and an apology for the confusion. Later in the telephone conversation she ended up finding my Aetna dental insurance information. As someone that works in customer service myself, I know how important it is to maintain professionalism and support patients/clients, especially when dealing with insurance changes and coverage verification or frustrated patients. My goal in providing this feedback is to prevent other families from potentially going through unnecessary distress over insurance issues. I continue to think highly of the dental services my family receives at Preminger and hope they can use this review to examine how the billing process impacts patients. Clear communication and empathy from all staff members are critical for a positive overall experience.

Throughout my childhood, almost every checkup visit ended with a diagnosis of several cavities. At first my parents assumed I wasn't brushing my teeth well enough, but things started to seem strange when Dr Sands would say that she found a few more cavities while she was filling ones she had already found. At this point, when I was a teenager, my parents and I agreed that something seemed fishy so we decided that I go to try a new dentist. This new dentist found no cavities in my mouth, just a few months after Dr Sands had found 5 or 6. I have never been back to Dr Sands' office but I have a mouth full of fillings to remind me of the horrible experience I had there. I am very happy with my new dentist and rarely get cavities- however the cavities I have had have been under the fillings from Dr Sands when I was a child. I can't help but wonder if these possible unnecessary fillings have compromised my teeth. My sister had a similar experience. I also know of other families who have left Dr Sands' office unhappy. Please look elsewhere for your child's dentist. Find someone who is honest and fair.

She speaks to the children so they understand what she is going to do and the reason why she is doing it. My children never give me a problem when I tell them they are going to Dr. Sands. Her office staff is just as great as she is. Everyone in that office works extra hard to make sure that the children have a pleasant experience. I recommend Dr. Sands to anyone looking for a Pediatric Dentist.

Unfortunately my body rejected the implant, and the implanted tooth needed to be removed (It's extremely rare, but it does happen). We figured this out after two weeks of excruciating pain. During the 2 weeks, I was in constant contact with the office and Dr. Sutter. Never once did I feel like I was imposing or bothering them. I needed to wait four more months to try again. This week I went back to have the implant done again. Dr. Sutter tried a new type of metal on the tooth, and it looks like it worked. I am writing this to show what kind of dentist Dr. Sutter is. The implant reject it was no fault of the doctor . Occasionally people have allergies and you don't know it until you try. He is the ultimate professional. A wonderful bedside manner, considerate, gentle, as well as, in my opinion a great surgeon. Most people hate dentists, but if you are going to have surgery, he is the person to go to.

She emailed me the paperwork so it would be completed by the time I got to my appointment. I was taken in within a few minutes. Dr Sutter was one of the kindest dentists that I have ever met. His friendliness and attentiveness put me at ease, which for me is almost impossible at the dentist. I had explained my problem about my tooth falling out as an implant when it turned out to be a post in which case I should have seen my regular dentist. Dr Sutter took X-rays and cemented the tooth back in to hold temporarily. He only charged me for the consult and gave me a copy of the X-ray to take with me. If I ever need an oral surgeon I know where to go.
