When I asked if they would fix, they said I needed to Replace AGAIN. Five days later after trying the cord and not having it work, I went back for my refund. Of course a whole different person was there. He said the did not give refunds. If you want to save time don't bother going to the Apple Store to try and have your iPhone fixed. Dropped my iPhone and shattered screen. Went to Apple first and original price was 150. To repair screen. Little high but what the heck. Told me it would be ready in 2 hours. Came back and Apple wanted to seek me another phone for 350. They could not do anything else so I left. Came to see Daniel and Humpty at Dr Eye phone and they took care of me in less than 15 minutes. When I ever make a recommendation it will be to visit both of them and have any issues taken care of. Do not go here to the Mission Viejo Mall Location. I am so disappointed. I brought my son's phone and my own. He has XS and I have XS max. I didn't ask the price upfront so, this is my bad, I just assumed it was a reasonable repair price. Once fixed, they charged over $300+ for each phone. Can you believe it, $300 to replace the screen? I've never heard of such a thing. I found out right after, there is a Kiosk right upstairs by the food court. The guy charges the normal $129 for screen repair. In addition, my keyboard is no longer working properly since the new screen is installed. Its typing all sorts of weird characters and words. In addition, the home screen is shaking and scrambled since the repair. Beware of the ripoff! I hope the owner knows these prices are being charged. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. To summarize an extremely long story I paid $240 and by the end of my experience with them I wasted hours of my time, left with a broken screen, and a phone that had more problems then when I initially brought it here. I first brought my phone here because My screen was stuck on an Apple logo and it also had a crack in it. I was told by the man that the Apple logo on my phone was due to the crack in the screen, and to fix it the screen had to be replaced. He replaced the screen and my phone was no longer stuck on the Apple logo. Shortly after I went to make a phone call and realized that I could no longer hear my phone calls unless the phone was on speakerphone. Apart from that my phone began working very slowly and parts of the screen such as the touch and hold feature did not work. I brought the screen back and asked for a refund because I knew that no matter what screen they put on it would not work because it is not an authorized Apple product. He refused and put on a new screen that had worse problems than the initial screen he put on. My phone would now go black every few minutes and stay black for a short period of time. Apart from this the microphone on my phone still did not work because he told me they were out of the part. I returned a third time and again requested a refund because now my phone was very dysfunctional to the point that I could hardly use it. He refused to refund again even though I offered to return the screen they had put on that was dysfunctional and take a cracked screen put back on my phone. He then told me that because there was a scratch on the screen that I made the screen was dysfunctional. Regardless of the scratch on the screen the screen was dysfunctional from the moment I walked away initially after getting a second screen put on. He then told me the screen going black with this software problem with my phone so to prove this I asked him to put back on and authentic Apple screen that he had taken from a repair earlier that day. He did and the problem completely went away. After wasting an hour and a half arguing and correcting him on false claims he would make to me and I would then prove wrong, I "compromised" because I knew these people were scammers and not going to give me the rightful refund I deserved, and walked away with and authentic Apple screen that was cracked from a repair he made earlier that day that did not fit into my phone so he gave me a case to ensure the screen wouldn't fall out of my phone, the microphone on my phone still does not work, and I got no refund. I am still in shock that the owner would allow such poor customer service as opposed to admitting to faults and taking a loss in order to do the right thing and refund a person who paid to have a phone with more problems than when I initially brought it. read more

Replaced iPhone 8 screen today, took over an hour instead of 20 minutes and now the phone keeps restarting by itself and won't charge. I will take it back tomorrow to see if they can fix it. UPDATE: Took it in to Dr Eye Phone for troubleshooting. The guy said it is a logic board issue on the phone that isn't evident until the phone has its battery physically disconnected (which coincidentally makes them not liable for the damage). The guy said there's nothing they can do except refund the cost as a courtesy. I forgot his name, but he was very friendly nonetheless and came across that he wanted to help in any way. I was going to change this to maybe a 4-Star review and be done with it but things still didn't add up. After the refund I took the phone to Apple store and they verified that a small number of iPhone 8's do have this issue. However, the S/N of this phone didn't match up with the affected ones, and Apple confirmed that it's not a logic board issue.The damage was caused by Dr Eye Phone during the screen replacement, and they tried to point the finger at a different issue in order to avoid taking responsibility. I ended up having to buy a new iPhone, thanks guys! My advice: Go to Apple store instead they cover all the work they do and use legitimate Apple parts read more

Update: my phone is extremely messed up after taking it here. I had none of these issues when my phone was cracked. The touchscreen is way off. I have an iPhone 6s Plus, the 3D Touch only works if I press extremely hard for a couple seconds. When I try to scroll down anything, it clicks around on multiple things. I thought it might have been the screen protector the gave me, but my Touch ID has stopped working as well. It makes random apps open all the time when I touch my screen on the home screen and if I'm on the web it will click on random links or highlight the whole page. Very upset and not sure what to do. read more

I have had a white edge originally, now it is black, it would not bother me so much if everything else would work well, but the home button fingerprint doesn't work anymore! He told me I should have known it is not going to work after the replacement, they didn't tell me when I left it there! I paid $150, also the screen is not attached perfectly. He told me he would replace it again if I wanted the white one but the button still wouldn't work fine, so I just left disappointed.
