What really concerned me was being told I would not meet my doctor until the actual day of surgery. I was also receiving text messages with surgery instructions while I was literally sitting in the lobby, which made the whole process feel very disorganized and unsettling. Social media can be very deceiving, so I highly recommend visiting any facility in person before committing to surgery. When it comes to cosmetic procedures and your safety, trust your gut. With continued fever for 2 weeks and pain without proper care nor testing, I had to come back to Dr Galvan, he heard what I had to say, ran some tests and referred me to a specialist, after a thorough testing through bloodwork, X-rays and ultrasound was he able to pin point what was happening with me and my body, something I was asking the so called Doctors in the US, and I got no concern on their behalf! Despite this, the additional Botox yielded no improvement. Subsequently, on April 16th, I underwent another round of complimentary treatment, but regrettably, as of today, April 29th, the desired results have not been achieved. While I must acknowledge the doctor's kindness throughout this process, it's essential to note that my financial investment was a waste of money. Despite reaching out to Allergan in the United States for clarification to my questions on April 10th, I was informed by the doctor on April 16th that the Botox they use is sourced from a facility in Brazil--a fact that struck me as unusual. Then, on April 29th, the administrator for Baja Plastic Surgery informed me that they order their Botox from within Mexico, adding to the confusion. The discrepancies in the sourcing of the Botox raise significant ethical concerns of honesty and authenticity of botox at this clinic. As such, I cannot in good conscience recommend their services. While the care provided may be courteous, the ultimate outcome--effective Botox treatment--remains bad. Save yourself the money; seek alternative providers whose products and practices inspire confidence.
