I booked an appointment Online for 12/30/2025 @ 5:10 pm for interior detail service at their shop (I chose the shop service cause of the weather and time, cause I knew it would dark out). On 12/30/2025, I received a phone call but did not pick up cause I didn't know the number (No message left). I then received a text message @ 3:41 pm saying they are only doing service mobile and if I wanted this service to text them my address, which I did. I then received a phone call saying it was to dark to perform the service and if I would like to re schedule on 01/01/2026 from 9:30am to 11:30am which I agree upon. On 01/01/2026 I waited, and nobody showed up. I tried calling and emailing, however nobody responded. I didn't receive a phone call until the next day 01/02/2026 at 10:02 am, saying that the person who was supposed to come complete my truck didn't show up to work that day. I then proceeded to cancel the service. It has been 12 days since then, and I am still waiting for a refund. I will never use this company again, nor recommend them to anybody else, nor my job that was looking for a detail service for their trucks. read more

Took my wife's minivan to Dr. Detail on Friday for a cleaning, and we came away with parts missing. When we bought the van, the window blinds were up (we keep them that way to block the sun from our babies), and now after the detail, the holders or shade clips--whatever you call them--are completely gone. We didn't notice until after we left, but when I went back to talk to the owner/manager, he claimed they were never there. That's just not true--we know they were there when we dropped it off. Instead of owning up to the mistake or even checking further, he doubled down and basically brushed it off. Very disappointed. A place like this should make your vehicle cleaner--not send you off with missing parts. Watch out for Dr. Detail--you might leave with less than you came in with. And the part in question is not a $3 item. It's a component your staff dislodged while cleaning the window. Your attempt to shift blame to us while we were installing car seats is unfounded. To clarify, the sliding door must be open to install a car seat, which fully covers the window--making it impossible for us to come into contact with the window or its components during that process. Additionally, the damaged part is not sold separately; the entire shade assembly must be replaced. The cost is $88 plus labor. Your team caused the damage, yet rather than acknowledging the mistake, you've chosen to deflect responsibility. For context, I previously owned a valet company, so I'm very familiar with this kind of deflection. Let me guess--you have a disclaimer posted somewhere. A simple apology would have gone a long way. Instead, you've lost a customer. And to your repeat and new customers, I offer this advice: thoroughly check your vehicle before and after service--because accountability here appears to be lacking. And as a warning to all current and future customers: based on the most recent reviews, it looks like they're all one-star ratings. After all these years in business, it's clear that the level of service at Dr. Detail is declining--and quickly. read more

It has been five years since I last had the car detailed professionally. I spoke to Alex @ Dr Details, and he explained in detail the steps to get the car close to a new look as possible. I was hopeful but unsure if he and his team could pull it off. I have to say the the car looks better than I possibly imagine He even washed the engine for me. Unfortunately I'm super disappointed in this place. My wife brought her car in for a detail cleaning that appeared clean until I got in and looked around. They basically charged $200 for a car wash and interior wipe down. The outside looked good but inside was bad. Every crevice still had dirt and dust. The vents, glovebox and interior roof were untouched by them. They forgot the middle cup holder in the back, it was full of old spills and stains. The gear shifter was sticky so I brought out a cloth and some hot water and both the steering wheel and shifter were filthy, old thick spills still on both. There was gunk pushed down into the gear shifter. The front seats seem to have been spot treated only- not shampooed. We rented an upholstery cleaner ourselves and the water was dark brown when we started. Back seats weren't touched at all. Weather mats were also uncleaned, full of old dirt and dried mud and thrown in the trunk. I bought detail tools and spent three more hours cleaning the car. This was not a typical "detail", this was more like a mini detail that normally costs $30-$40. Super upset we were ripped off and wish we would have went with another place. read more

Got a deal off groupon. I had no ride and told them i would wait in the waiting room, so they put my car as a priority. they did an amazing job and there was a couple impossible stain that they tried really hard to get out, didn't, but i saw they were putting in a real effort. My car looked brand new inside and out, all except for the interior ceiling they didn't touch or forgot to do. other than that, they did a really good job and they cared alot. the manager was also really nice. read more

Excellent, excellent, excellent. I made an appointment for a "Complete Supreme Detail", which included both interior and exterior cleaning. I called a few weeks in advance to schedule an appointment for Saturday morning at 8:30 am. The shop is located off of route 46 and has an entrance on the side street (Money Street). Drive a little slower when approaching the place so that you don't miss pulling into the narrow driveway/entrance for cars. The owner was very nice. He inquired if I would be waiting there or would come back to pick up the car. I opted to wait and the service took approximately 2 hours. The seating options were a couch or a few different chairs. Don't expect too much. When it was time to take a look at the finished job on the car, I was impressed by how my car looked. The car looked brand new on the inside and was very clean on the outside. At a few other interior detail shops, I've paid more for the same interior detailing service, that ending up being less quality work. The owner clearly takes pride in the good job that his employees do. I was shown every part of the interior and asked if everything was as expected. It certainly was and I will be back. read more

I wanted to give a rave review, but I just can't. I purchased a Groupon for an interior/exterior detail here at Dr. Detail. Upon calling, Alex was very nice and was able to fit me into what he said was a fully booked week. Customer service was good when I dropped off my car and it was ready in less than 4 hours. When I went to pick it up, both the exterior and interior looked PHENOMENAL. This was on Monday, 11/18. As of Thursday, 11/21, my passenger seat is filled with stains. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, the seat was clean, with a few minor stains that I wasn't worried about (that seat was the dirtiest and I was actually shocked at well they shampooed it). I do not know why staining is coming back, but I'm extremely displeased. What's the point of a detail if it's only temporary?! I attached a picture to show what my seat looks like as of Thursday. Thieves ! After paying $175 for a not great detailing I discovered the contents on my glovebox was missing. I didn't remove my personal paperwork and other items since was no need to clean my glovebox. I contacted the owner who verbally abused me over the phone and was told it's their policy to throw out anything they find in the car??? Throw out my insurance and registration? ?? That's acceptable ?? I threaten to call the Lodi police and then I got a return call from the hot headed nasty owner that he found some of my belonging in the trash and then admitted his worker stole the rest. The owner still had the nerve to be angry with me and yelling at me when I went to retrieve my personal effects from a pile of wet garbage laying on the ground. His thief worker went home to get the other items he stolen from my car. I cannot believe it could possibly be a car detail shop policy to throw out anything they may find in a vehicle. I have had my autos detailed plenty of times and always have received any found items back. When I questioned why doesn't the shop have the throw out policy posted anywhere was told "that's the way it is" now I have to file a police report for my stolen EZ pass and go through the hassle of getting a new one since the thieves would not admit to stealing it and returning it. Stay clear of this dishonest business. The employees actually go through your car and steal items. When they were caught, they use a lie saying they throw out found items thinking it was garbage. I'm just curious, why would they throw out insurance cards, spare keys, and registration information? When I confronted the owner he admitted one of his employees had stolen items from the car and actually sent his employee home to retrieve the stolen items. The guys just left my house and I'm very happy with how my car looks. They did a terrific job cleaning both the interior and exterior. They were professional and pleasant. I appreciated that they piled up some of the random garbage (receipts, etc) I left in the car, but made sure to hand me a small picture of my son, so that it didn't get mixed in with the garbage. Did an EXCELLENT JOB !!! I used Dr Detail twice so far. On my wife's red Camry and my Honda Coupe. They first used a clay bar and then used Meguiars to polish and wax the car. They even used a special tool to remove any debris from the aluminum wheels to make the. loook brand new again. Plus they vacuumed the interior and washed the windows for a very reasonable price..... Did not perform service as agreed - used towels to rub cloth seats instead of a wet vacuum to shampoo and extract dirt. I've gotten service like that and I find it fundamentally better. When attempted to discuss with the owner over the phone during the job, he said he misunderstood what I was asking, even though he spoke English well and eventually said he has those vacuums but they are ineffective. I had asked several times, including when his employees arrived, and I specifically reiterated what I needed when scheduling. That was the only thing I was specific about and frankly the reason I had agreed to hire them. In general the service may be fine - just not what I expected. read more
