This place doesn't even deserve one fukking star. Chipped my tooth twice & cancelled my emergency appointment.

I have 3 complaints.. 1. Answer the PHONE!!!! 2. Listen to the messages 3 Give a same day call back!!! 4. Change the hours on both entrance door and website I had a tooth pulled today and dr told me if motrin doesn't help with the pain Give me a call.... I left messages. No call back I go there and they are closed when it says it's open till 7 The Dr himself was great..His assistant was great... The first 4 complaints are what I have....besides suffering in pain...Update... I finally got through Saturday morning after calling 13 times on Friday..the dr said that I need a root canal bottom tooth. It's not my frigging bottom tooth that's aching!!!! It's the top tooth next to where the one was pulled!!!! Do they listen!!?? Noo!!! .. I told the receptionist about the calls from me yesterday and she said no I didn't get any calls...liar I told her to listen to the messages because I left some she still denied it..... the dr said take the 800 MG motrin..it's not working. Dr, Dental in Lowell Mass is great. They take Mass Health ( CCA ), The staff are friendly and professional. If you go there, you want to ask for Dr, Park. This Dr. is the only Dentist I ever had that caused nearly NO PAIN. Seriously. If you're afraid of Dentists or needles, Dr. Park is your guy. read more

I moved to Mass in 2013 from California. Dr. Dental was the first Dentist office I visited. 8 years later, and alot of work done, I am continue to be thrilled that I came here first. I cannot say enough good things about this dental office. Dr. Shinde is just the best there is. He loves being a dentist, he's an artist with his knowledge, he's a perfectionist, highly educated, personable, respectful, honest and funny. There is a delightful and awesome level of respect shared between the Dr.'s and the staff, whatever their positions are. To Jordan, Naomi, Melissa, Ryan, and everyone at Dr. Dental on Church St, you are all angels. Thank you for what you do. I always AWAYS leave my appt's smiling because I know that I have just had great work done in my mouth. Your hurts are their concerns and they do whatever they can to make you smile. Had a bad experience yesterday December 16,2021. The office Dr Dental which is located on churich street in Lowell. I checked in for my appointment when the manager named Melissa Rodriguez asked me what I was having done which made me feel uncomfortable is a Hippa Violation while there was two people in the waiting area and on top of that she insisted I had to pay a copay of $246.00 or I couldn't be seen. I kept telling her I had two insurances and she still insisted I had to pay a copay. I asked her why does she continue to tell me that mass Health which is my secondary would not cover my procedure when I said to her how does she know if she hasn't submitted my charges yet and she said she has worked there over ten years and she knows what she is doing which in fact she was wrong. She treated me like I was a nobody and embarrassed me. She had a really bad attitude and did not have any consideration towards her customer. I have been going to this office for many years love my dentist. Most of my family members work for this company for many years, but as for this certain individual she is a disgrace and a bad representative for this company she does not know how to treat the patients that enter this facility. If she continues to work there I suggest your company will not Be highly recommended in this community. read more

I have been in pain for over 3 weeks following extractions. Dentist refuses to provide pain relief. Ibuprofen is not working. I take prescription strength ibuprofen for arthritis pain. Works pretty well for that. Does nothing for mouth pain. read more

DO NOT GO HERE, DONT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE, UNLESS YOU ARE A MASOCHIST. HACKS! DON'T GO TO THE ONE IN DRACUT EITHER, THE DENTISTS THAT RUINED MY TEETH WORK THERE TOO! MY DOCTOR DENTAL NIGHTMARE: I came here in Spring of 2016 because it was the soonest appointment at any office I could get and my insurance was going to expire. I knew I needed fillings. I had a bunch of fillings done, mostly in my back teeth, molars and wisdom tooth. After 3 hours I was eager to get out of there. I got to my car and sat for a few minutes, by this time the anesthetic was wearing off and I was feeling around at the work with my tongue. Then I found a sharp rough spot sticking down in the back, sharp enough to cut my tongue on it. Very prominent point that stuck down past the chewing surface, how do you miss that?! I went back in and they filed it down and I went home. A couple hours later once the anesthetic had fully worn off, I was getting reading for dinner and felt (with my tongue) the rough uneven surface they had transformed the back right chewing surface and backs of my teeth into. My canine tooth had a concave space larger than before they had filled it and one side was sharp enough to cut my tongue on. Unfortunately, the disappointment didn't stop there. When I sat down to finally eat dinner, I took a bite with the side of the fillings and excruciating shooting pain burst in my jaw! I tried to take a few bites of soft food, thinking that it was just sensitive, but I couldn't, the pain was unbearable. (For the record I have never experienced pain after a filling). Rest of the evening I had a head ache. Next day, My whole jaw throbbed and I had a terrible head ache. I knew something was wrong, and made an emergency appointment at my parents dentist. She looked at it and told me that not only did it look like they had done a poor job, but the filling in my wisdom tooth was broken (WHICH EXPLAINED THE PAIN)!! THEY SENT ME OUT OF THE OFFICE WITH A BROKEN FILLING!! Unfortunately, my insurance would not cover another filling in the same tooth so I had to make an appointment for the following Monday to go back to the same office and have them fix it. The whole weekend I had excruciating head aches, could only chew on half my mouth, and would wake up in the middle of the night with searing tooth pain. Monday I went to get the broken filling fixed. I wouldn't have gone back to them if I could afford to pay out of pocket. I insisted on seeing a different dentist. The dental tech was rude and obviously not paying full attention to the dentist as she "fixed" the shoddy filling. This dentist also confirmed that the filling was broken. Later once the anesthesia wore off, the surface and back of teeth still felt rough and uneven. I tried to stay hopeful that at least it would be painful anymore. That night I had spaghetti for dinner, and even on the soft noodles again I had pain that was not as bad as previously but still too unbearable to be able to chew on the right side of my mouth. For the next two weeks I went about chewing on the left side. This put stress on an old filling on the left, which a chunk fell out of. Now I was (presumably) insurance-less and facing an emergency visit to my parents dentist the following Monday. Turns out my insurance wasn't shut off after all (WTF!) and I got the hole fixed, scheduled a full exam in a week to get xrays of the work Doctor Dental had done. The next week I still couldn't chew because of the pain. They took xrays and looked around, and determined that the filling hadn't been sealed properly (AYFKM?!), but they couldn't fix it for a year because of my insurance restrictions. She said it wouldn't cause any harm to leave it for a year, so I opted to just deal with not being able to chew rather than return to the dental hell that is Doctor Dental. It is now December, and for the past two weeks I have been able to chew soft food on the right side of my mouth. FINALLY! I still have to worry about hard things like nuts and chips, but as of today I can chew most things on the teeth they filled. Now to put this into perspective, that is 9 FREAKING MONTHS of not being able to chew on half of my mouth. I discussed this with my current dentist, she told me that is very unusual and probably due to the poor sealing job. She also commented that she was shocked they would even do a filling and remove so much tooth from a wisdom tooth, and if that much decay had been resent they should have pulled it. Also she told me they should have offered amalgam fillings for the back teeth, which they didn't. Additionally, ever since the original fillings, I have been suffering from headaches 1-4 times per week. I rarely used to get head aches before. I am posting all of this because I don't want anyone to have to suffer as I did. I have learned a great lesson, and will NOT go to ANY medical practice without a referral or reading reviews. IF YOU HAVE ANY SENSE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! read more

He was gentle with me I am the biggest baby when it comes to dental work and he listened to all my concerns . I've been back three times already. Dr. Dental on Church St. has been great with my family. Katlyn the receptionist is so kind and helpful. Dr. Shindi is very comforting and caring. He always asks about my family.
