I'm not a new to wearing eyeglasses and contacts but was my first visit to do my annual checkup with this office was expensive. My comprehensive eye exam was $190, diagnosing astigmatism (which i already told her) for $55 and $120 for contact lens fitting. $120 Contact lens fitting is required to get contact lens prescription. I was ultimately still fitted with the same brand and prescription as my last annual exam. I ended up choosing an Oakley prescription frame but with the add-on fees total more $735. Mind you this was more than 2x what an official Oakley store will charge you for the same configuration. What is frustrating about working with this office was the process from quotation of her exam fees was not upfront (I was told no cost via my insurance) and prescription eyeglasses with the options i requested. This was not a smooth process by any means.

I must say this is the first Dr's office I've had where the doctor took the time to include in the bill a letter explaining the reason why the invoice was delayed, the reason for the delay, and that they're truly sorry for the inconvenience. His Irvine office has top of the line new equipment. Best technology! After going through all my concerns and tests, Dr Soroudi suggested and encouraged me to proceed with the Clear Lens Exchange. I wore 3.0 magnifying eye glasses for reading, computer at work all day then struggled without glasses driving day and night. I could not read road signs even a short block away.
