The medical assistant staff is very good as well. Parking is good, as it's a large medical plaza, and I like how they didn't push laser treatments or boutique creams like some other dermatology clinics I've been too, but they have them available. The final straw is that now the office has a new policy where you have to keep a credit card on file. This seems rampant for abuse! I am so happy with the results!!!! The spots are flawless and can't be seen with no scars, and I'm so happy. As for the office, it's very well maintained and clean. I have never had an issue with making an appointment or checking out. All the staff are very friendly. & I am seen immediately at my scheduled time. There's validated parking at their lot.

The rest of the experience was completely unprofessional. When scheduling, I uploaded my new insurance and my appointment was confirmed, leading me to believe the office accepted my insurance. Upon arrival, the front desk was chaotic. Patients were being called out by full name and even MRN numbers within clear earshot of the waiting room, which was extremely concerning from a privacy standpoint. I provided my insurance card and later asked for it back, at which point a front desk employee named Rebecca responded with visible attitude, stating she could not run my insurance because her computer was not working and repeatedly said they "just needed to get me into a room." I specifically asked whether the provider I was seeing accepted my insurance and was told yes. After a rushed and impersonal visit, I was left alone in the exam room for another 10 minutes without being told my appointment had ended. During this time, I overheard multiple conversations about other patients in the hallway. When I returned to the front desk to retrieve my insurance card, I was told my insurance "wouldn't go through" and was informed that it was my responsibility to ensure the provider was in network. I explained that I have PPO insurance and that my coverage is active and used regularly. Despite this, I was told my insurance was "not valid" and that they "hoped it would work when billing got it." I decided to try again and saw Jackie. The difference in a couple months was really great! She listened to my concerns about harsh treatments and how I didn't have luck with tretinoin in the past. She noticed that I had multiple issues that needed to be resolved so she put me on a treatment plan. As I progressed I was able to phase out prescriptions once they were solved. My skin concerns of course were not solved overnight but I was happy to have someone who was able to guide me every step of the way. She listened to all my concerns and is an absolute pleasure to see. I've only seen Jackie so I can't speak for the other doctors. All the nurses I've dealt with have been helpful and professional. I will say I've never had the issues others have had in their reviews. Front desk is like any other medical front desk. Kind of cold but they get my appointments scheduled and send documents quickly. The wait times can be long so I like scheduling end of day. Parking is also not easy during the day but clears up later. Overall I highly recommend Jackie but give yourself time for parking/ wait times.

First, my pharmacist sent me multiple messages that there was an issue with a rx that a PA sent. CVS said they contacted this office multiple times, but were never responded to. This wasn't an absolutely necessary prescription for me, but was definitely a tell of how they operate. Approximately 15 minutes prior to my treatment appointment, I receive a phone call from them that my provider never made it back from her holiday travel. I absolutely understand that many things with travel are out of one's control, but unless her flight was a red eye and she was supposed to get back that morning, there was plenty of notice she had to know she wasn't going to make it back for our appointment. This was a more in depth laser with a week of downtime, that I had scheduled my entire holiday around. Obviously it's disappointing to miss out on something I had planned for months in advance, but the lack of communication or even attempt to make it right just speaks to the other reviews that echo lots of pain with the management of this office. The PA who was going to treat me seemed lovely, but I won't be going back.

I've been suffering scalp itching for decades now and I never knew how to deal with it. Whenever I went to physicals doctors never really dealt with it. Finally decades later my primary doctor had recommended me to go to a dermatologist. They recommended me Julie iwasaki, glen iwasaki, good dermatologist. I called Julie's practice first and was shocked to have a 3 month wait. But something told me if she's booked for 3 months ahead she must be good. However I had an immediate skin condition that needed to be dealt with and went to good dermatologist instead. I honestly didn't have the best experience there. I had 2 doctors one wasn't helpful and the second was way better but overall experience I didn't like so waited for Julie's appointment. She was super kind gave me immediate solutions and asked me to return in 2 months. I'm excited to finally to find a doctor that is willing to work with me. On a side note, I found out doctor Gwen Iwasaki is her mother and a rare doctor who can speak Japanese. The caveat is she only takes medicare patients. I know there is a whole Japanese community desperately looking for Japanese speaking doctors so if there are any patients with medicare needing Japanese assistance I suggest trying her mother's practice.

I got a appointment within days, the staff is amazing and friendly, the office clean, easy to find and peaceful. Dr. Furey quickly diagnosed my issue and gave me everything I needed to get on the winning end of this battle. I just had a follow-up with him 6 weeks after, and I'm happy to say this Dermatitis is almost completely gone. Dr. Furey did let me know from the start that it would take a bit of time to completely get this under control, but the results and time, respect and care I have received. I highly recommend this Dermatology office to anyone looking for amazing care. Thank you to everyone for your help!
