I cannot express how wonderful Dr.Kirby is! First of all, he is a caring doctor. He is such a perfectionist which is so comforting to know as a patient. I got filler in my lip and was nervous. It wasn't my first time getting lip filler, but it was my first time with him. What a big difference! He was worlds better than my last experience and my last experience was good. I went to Beverly Hills with another person. So that speaks volumes of dr. Kirby. Trust me if you go to him you won't regret it! My only regret is not doing it with him before! Thank you Dr. Kirby for giving your job 100%!!

I couldn't be happier with my Juvaderm results from today! I can't thank Dr. Kirby enough for giving me the lips I've always dreamt of, and I had such a great experience. He is very thorough in his explanation of the process, and is eager to answer any and all questions you have. I very highly recommend him, and will absolutely be going back for future appointments.

Saw Dr. Kirby again today and I'm going home very happy!

Went to see Dr. Kirby again today! I really can't say enough to good things about him and his practice. He's always very patient with me and takes time to explain what he's doing and makes sure all my questions are answered. I'd recommend him to anyone as I've never had a bad result!

Don't do business with this company. They scammed me out of 1900 dollars. Used products that were cheaper then what i payed for.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. David and her amazing staff! I've been seeing Dr…read more David for several years now and she has always been kind, patient, compassionate and incredibly positive. I have struggled with severe eczema my entire life and Dr. David was able to prescribe medication that has helped clear my skin tremendously. I'm so grateful for the care, knowledge, and genuine concern she has shown me throughout the years. It also makes me especially happy and grateful that my son is able to see her as well. Knowing that my family is in such caring and capable hands means so much to me. Dr. David and her staff are truly amazing, and I'm incredibly thankful for everything they do. I would absolutely and highly recommend Dr. David to anyone looking for an excellent dermatologist. Thank you, Dr. David and your wonderful staff, for all that you do!

I'll start with the good. Parking was easy, the building is nice, the office was easy to find, and…read moreoverall the facility itself is great. Unfortunately, my experience inside the office was a completely different story. From the minute I walked in, something just felt off. The first person who greeted me at the front desk simply asked, "What's your name?" No hello, no welcome, no "How are you?" Just straight to business. I actually said, "Hey, how are you doing?" and had to repeat myself. It almost seemed like he was surprised that I was asking how he was doing. It might sound like a small thing, but first impressions matter, especially in a medical office. A simple "Hi, welcome in" goes a long way. The office was also extremely quiet. I didn't see any other patients, there wasn't much going on, and the same elevator-type music seemed to be playing on a loop. I sat in the lobby for about five minutes while I could see staff talking in the back. Eventually, someone came out and brought me into an exam room. This is where things became even more uncomfortable. I was told to undress and stand on a white cloth because the floor was cold. No gown or robe was offered. I had to specifically ask for one, and the response was basically that they normally don't give patients one. I said I wanted one, and they eventually gave me one. That was a big red flag for me. If you're asking someone to undress for an exam, providing some type of covering seems like a pretty basic patient-comfort thing. Then the doctor came in with another person holding an iPad. I had no idea who she was at first. I asked and was told she was there to help document everything. Maybe that's standard for this office, but when someone is potentially about to examine you while you're undressed, I think an introduction and explanation beforehand would be appropriate. At that point, I had already made up my mind. I wasn't comfortable getting undressed or doing a full exam. I stayed dressed, asked the doctor to look at the two specific things I came in for, and kept the visit short. When I checked out, they asked if I wanted to schedule another appointment because the doctor wanted to see me again in 30 days. I declined. But here's the part that really sealed it for me. About 30 minutes after I left, I actually called the office because I wanted to give the doctor feedback directly rather than just go online and write a review. I asked to speak with her and was told she wasn't available. I left my phone number and asked for a callback. They even asked what the call was about, and I specifically said I wanted to provide feedback about my experience. I never received a call back. That was red flag number four. The frustrating part is that none of my concerns were about the building, parking, or even the doctor's medical knowledge. It was the overall experience and the lack of basic communication and warmth. Say hello when someone walks in. Explain what's going to happen before asking them to undress. Offer them something to cover themselves with. Introduce the additional person entering the exam room. And if a patient calls afterward specifically wanting to provide feedback, at least acknowledge the call. Those little things matter. I left feeling less like a patient and more like I was just being moved through a process. And when I tried to give the office an opportunity to hear that feedback directly, nobody called me back. Based on my experience, I won't be returning, and with the number of dermatologists available throughout Torrance and the South Bay, I personally wouldn't recommend this office.

I was blown away by my before and after photos. Seriously. Everyone at work noticed. Thought I looked well rested, not that I had work. What she prescribed for me opened up my eyes, my face, I have eyelids now, and she snatched my jawline. Simply amazing. As always, results may vary. But this was the most dramatic change I've had, and I've been doing all the things without noticeable improvement with other docs. Korean skin care can only do so much. Beware when she walks out of the room: you will be in a high pressure hell by her employee sent in there to buy countless products you don't truly need at prices sometime much higher than what you can get online. Chiu jacks up procedure costs as well. Had a worthless no results procedure for $250 last time? This time it's $400! The broken blood vessels are still very visible. I was dealing with extreme hyperthyroidism at the time and Chiu was counter reactive with unkindness. What kind of "dr" is photographed lying down in her self-promos. (I can't answer that here.)

All was pleasant, professional and thorough. He gave me a tiny container of Vaseline (more than enough) for the excision site. I was called a couple of days later with reassuring words from the path report. The office is conveniently located and the parking lot ample, with ramps for mobility needs. Unlike many professional offices, the waiting room looks like a stylish, upscale yet unpretentious doctor's office, not a skincare products boutique. Dr. Rackett invited me to call for follow-up or new problems. I'd extend the same to you.

Reception told me that the dermatologist had set aside a specific amount of time for my appointment and that I would need to reschedule. I understood and rescheduled the appointment for a couple of days later. I attended the rescheduled appointment and paid my bill in full for the procedure at the office. At no point during my initial phone call, when I rescheduled, or when I was physically in the office for treatment was I told that I would be charged a no-show fee. This was especially confusing because I had called ahead to explain that I would be late and was instructed by the office to reschedule. Weeks later, I was charged a $50 fee for the original appointment. If there was a cancellation or late-arrival policy that applied in this situation, it should have been clearly communicated when I called or when I was in the office for my rescheduled appointment. I could have understood the charge if it had been explained at the time, but instead I received a message weeks later stating that finance charges would be applied to an unpaid no-show balance I was unaware of. Very disappointing experience. It feels like the practice is more interested in collecting $$ fees than treating patients fairly. I would recommend looking elsewhere.

I've never waited more than 15 minutes after my appt time to see the doctor. The front office staff is super accommodating - I showed up for an appt on the right day of the week and the right time, but I got the dates wrong and was exactly 1 week early! They managed to work me in the schedule so I could be seen that day instead of having to come back. Dr. Chuang is straightforward and I appreciate how he puts things in terms I understand. I wonder if Dr Chuang sold his practice to a private equity firm because the office is now all about profit and not about patient care. Also, I have been double billed, billed for crazy amounts (like hundreds of dollars for a skin check when I called my insurance and was only supposed to pay my $40 copay) and then it's soooooo much work to and hassle: his office just drains the life out of you and makes you want to give up and just let them keep your money. The final straw is that now the office has a new policy where you have to keep a credit card on file. This seems rampant for abuse! I decided to quit this practice rather than have to go through the hassle of this office changing my credit card aimlessly and fraudulently.
