OK here we go this is from the Dr, had a customer, we will not mention their name here Autumn !! this un named customer came to me with a laptop she had dropped face down from the looks of it several times, with an issue of no display after looking it over we brought to her attention that several screws were missing. which seemed to be a mystery to her as to where they had gone??? i made it clear that the laptop looked like it had been opened at one point she insisted that it hadn't , so i agreed with her and offered to replace them for free and after doing free diagnostic found that her actions the dropping had damaged the display so i got her a price as to what it would cost to replace it and after a day of issues with her i did something i haven't done in 23 years i refused her service i have only refused service to two people in all this time and she was number two. i do this job because i love what i do and i love meeting you all who bless me with your business but there are the very few who you cant satisfy . with all that being said she called me after getting her unit back with "i was looking over my laptop and i saw a small indention that i dont recall being there on the lid " well lets go over what i remember from my eyeballing the unit there was a small crease in the lid and a broken spot in the from right corner with part of the bezel missing and scratches covering the whole of the case food particles inside along the edges and along the vent area and a few of the grates missing from the vent . and lets not forget the mysterious missing screws. im posting this not too be mean but to show that you cant satisfy everyone and for every customer you get that is honestly wanting to get their items repaired there are those who will give you hard time all you can do is keep your honor in tact and be respectful and treat everyone the same . i do this because i love serving you all thank you all for your business and your loyalty. read more

Very Scary...... very bad guy...... please dont go to this place 1. bought one computer brke down next day, said he will fix it could not fix asked me to buy another with higher price which again broke next day..... on asking for return of money as per his promise he blocked my calls to his number..... also threatened to harm me and never returned my money. 2. his wife or girlfriend very rude. 3. place is crappy and very scary, i hv seen many people following my car as i left the place 4. he is jackass mann who can never trusted. computers he buys are stolen as told by my guy who had similar experience. 5 pleasemthink 1000 times vefore going to this place or dealing with this man. 6. he uses all pirated softwares and stolen laptops. never would recommend anyone to go or deal with this guy. read more

I screwed up downloading drivers for my hp tablet/laptop hybrid to the point where I couldn't even get Windows 10 to load ---even after doing a factory reset. Im not a computer whiz, but I've had my share of laptops and desktops over the years, and have successfully troubleshot most of the problems. This was an exception. Took it to Wes and he told me he'd have it back to me in two hours. The man knows his stuff! On top of that, he charged me a flat rate of $75. I was so impressed, I gave him an extra 40. It beats what I could have done at Best Buy/Geek Squad, Office Depot/Staples, or the independents. If you're in Montgomery on business and your computer dies, Wes is the man to see. My go to laptop became unusable. I went to one shop and they got $25 for a diagnosis. They quoted about $150 for repair. My next stop was Dr. Computer. He offered a second opinion for free and I left him with three laptops and my cell phone. He fixed the first laptop, taught my phone to reject spam and cleaned out the clutter apps. He diagnosed the second computer with a broken motherboard and provided advice on several computer topics. What I found at 413 Caldwell is an expert computer technician with integrity and fun to talk to. I won't go any where else for computer service. His fee was more than reasonable. read more

Rarely see customer service like this! Unable to contact my regular computer "guru," saw the reviews of Dr Computer Repair online and called. He was able to help on short notice, courteous, professional, and definitely knowledgeable. Stopped other work to assist me, accurately diagnosed the problem and got me back in business. I was having trouble getting my computer to play a DVD. Wesley was able to quickly determine that the DVD drive was malfunctioning and he replaced it at cost. It was ready in less than 5 hours.When I came to get it he also freely advised me and showed me how to make it play the audio through with a speaker that came with my desktop. My neighbor gave me the business card of Dr computer in Montgomery AL off troy hwy and suggested that we give them a call.We called them at around 8:45 and was given a choice to either have a technician come to our house our we could bring the PC to them; we chose to have the technician come to us.
