DPK Public Relations was established as a result of insights gained by Daniel Keeney, APR while managing one of the PR team of one of Houston's largest integrated marketing/communications agencies, He was frustrated that the skills and experience of his team rarely matched the needs of clients perfectly, so he set out to create an agency that capitalized on available technology tools to access and mobilize dynamic teams of PR pros whose skills and experience uniquely match client needs whenever and wherever clients need them. After nearly 12 years, this on-demand model for providing public relations agency services has proven to deliver exceptional value for clients. DPK Public Relations works with many of America's most trusted companies.
Meet the Business Owner: Daniel K.
Dan Keeney, APR is the president of DPK Public Relations, a public relations firm specializing in crisis communications planning, crisis communications response and crisis recovery as well as media relations, marketing communications, and spokesperson training. He has led numerous high-profile communications initiatives, from corporate restructurings to product introductions and from international crisis communications response to grassroots engagement efforts.
A 30-year veteran of the communications field, Dan is accredited in public relations. He is a former broadcast journalist who worked as a reporter, anchor and talk show host at local radio stations in Virginia and Chicago before working as a network director of news and programming. As a trainer for media training and presentation skills training, this experience helps clients improve the message delivery skills of their spokespersons.
