Party Tray B

Party tray has such a good variety. Enough for 4 people with good appetites. Everything is so tasty and fresh. California, BC, Spicy Veggie, Spicy Salmon, Crunchy Spicy Tuna, Chopped Scallop, Spider Roll, something for everyone. We also added an order of Agedashi Tofu. Will be ordering again when visiting Kelowna.

Left to right: Spicy salmon roll, Crunchy spicy tuna roll, Negitoro roll, Chopped scallop roll.

In my opinion, this is one of the city's hidden restaurant gems. The sushi is fresh, delicious, and very creatively plated. Some of my favourite sushi in Kelowna, and definitely the most fairly priced for the quality. The main chef is Tony, he is friendly and takes very good care of the customers. I would recommend Dozo to anyone in the mood for a quality sushi experience without breaking the bank!

Kick Ass Ramen (6 out of 10) Soup base was bland.

Japanese restos are usually my go to if I just want something quick. I ordered their Kick Ass ramen and an order of their Gyoza. Service: 6 out of 10 I came in at 7:30pm and it was relatively busy. They have 2 servers and the place probably have 15-20 tables (4 pax per table). Their staff were very nice and polite butbthe service was slow. For a small restaurant, I didn't think it should have taken me a full hour there. Food: 7 out of 10 The Gyoza was pretty tasty but lacking a little bit of authenticity when it comes to the flavor. But I'd still say it was good! I would order it again. The dipping sauce was too sweet. My main dish: Kick ass ramen The soup base was very mediocre and was actually very bland. I had to add some soy sauce and some of the Gyoza dipping sauve in my soup to make it taste tolerable. Toppings was good, there was a good amount of toppings in my bowl. Overall, I probably would still give them a try again and see what else they have to offer. Their Shio ramen is their best ramen in my opinion.

The food here is incredible. It is comparable to Nobu sushi in Las Vegas. The service was also very good. I will return.

The food is incredible comparable to Nobu sushi in Las Vegas. Service was excellent. I will be back.

I have never had a California roll that tastes so fishy and unappetizing. Would avoid this roll.

I stopped in for a quick lunch yesterday, friendly courteous staff. Fast and fresh sushi. Reasonably priced. Five stars from me.

They told us it would be a 20minute wait but after 10 minutes they were able to get us a table. Quite an extensive menu. We settled on 2 miso, tempura bento box with gyoza, squid, tonkatsu ramen, sashimi duo, rainbow roll, and a dynamite roll. Food came out quickly. Miso was one of the best we have had. Kids enjoyed the gyoza - one of their favourites. The squid was great - probably should have gone with half order. The rainbow and dynamite roll was different from other places we have been too but still good. The ramen was good but not the best we have had - but the kids did enjoy it. I thought the broth wasn't as flavourful as we have had before. We ordered way too much food and had to pack some for home. Service was friendly and efficient. Washrooms were clean. Will definitely try and come back again.

Did not eat it. The only thing that was the same was the miso soup. Very disappointed in the one placed I felt worth while spending my hard in money on occasional treat.

If you come here you should get their karaage chicken ramen or the death by chicken karaage. The…read moredeath by chicken karaage has a nice flavor kick to it. It is not spicy at all. The chicken was nice and crispy. The noodle was tasty. Do not order the Ebi Wonton ramen. I went back the second time and got that and I was disappointed. It reminded me of Chinese Wonton soup. Note that their chicken and pork chashu is not made using the authentic way. They do not use pork belly for the chashu. It is not the one you typically get at ramen from bigger cities or Japan. The chicken is basically regular seasoned chicken breast and the chashu is basically pork shoulder. The one I am used to is where they take the pork belly, season it and then roll it up. It is not the case here. The noodle was tasty but not wow and you can tell that it was freshly made in house. Broth was ok. But hey this is the only ramen place in Kelowna (2023) at the moment. Inside is ran by Japanese people. Chicken Karaage ramen 3.5 stars Ebi Wonton Ramen 1.5 stars Death by Chicken Karaage 4 stars. I am giving this place 4 stars because it is located in Kelowna. If this restaurant was located down in the coast (Vancouver) or any big city than I would give it 2 stars. Also I do find that the quality of food was not very consistent. I went back the second time and it was not as good as the first time. Service was ok. Note that Parking is free after 6 pm.

We were greeted immediately and sat at a table at the end of the restaurant. We ordered Chicken Karaage and Gyoza to start. The karaage was excellent. My wife who doesn't usually like fried stuff thoroughly enjoyed it. They also have a spicy version which I think I will try next time. The Gyoza was a bit meh. For ramen we ordered 2 Original's and 1 Tan Tan Men. The Tan Tan Men was excellent - broth was flavourful and enough spiciness that you get a kick but without overpowering everything overall. The Original wasn't that good - broth wasn't as flavourful. The noodles also were the straight thin kind which is not our favourite. We also had 1 order of extra noodle on the side which was quite a good portion. Service was good and washroom's were clean. For one of the top Ramen places in Kelowna we were underwhelmed.
