My sister was in town for the weekend and wanted to pick up some items for her granddaughters. As…read morewe were in the mall shopping we decided to shop in Hatley. Walking in, the store is an automatic happy place. The bright colors. Adorable clothing. And easy to shop design esthetic. The store is not overcrowded nor is everything jumbled together. The clothes are hanging and in order of size which is absolutely amazing. The young lady (Lenbb) who was behind the register was super pleasant. She greeted us when we entered the store and allowed us space to browse and shop. This is huge as most boutique style stores tend to apply pressure to make a purchase. As we browsed the store my sister came across some super cute clothing that would be perfect for the girls. However, the game changer for me was the socks!! OMG!!! Anyone who knows me knows that I love cute socks. Bright colors. Catchy Designs. Argyle and all. Any sock that catches my eye immediately has to be purchased. As such... can you guess what I purchased??? LoL!!! Super cute. Super comfortable. Very affordable. And most of all, super eye-catching socks. I loveeeeeeee my socks and I am now going to make sure to stop in Hatley anytime I'm in the mall to see what new socks they have in stock. While I'm there, I'll get a few things for the girls as well but the socks will always be my mission. LoL!

My florist friend brought me here to pick out flowers for my reception. I had googled "how to shop…read moreat a floral wholesaler" days before to help prepare me, but I still had no idea what to expect. For one, I really could not tell you the difference between most flowers (thus why our centerpieces were baby's breath - easy, simple, affordable and the bigger bang for your money). Fred is in charge of the fresh flowers and helped answer my questions. Most of their fresh flowers is in the walk in cooler and grouped according to their type. There wasn't a huge selection, but each flower looked fresh and healthy. Since it wasn't rows upon rows of flowers, making my final selection was pretty quick and easy. Fred wrote up my order and I was out in under 1.5 hours. Picking up the flowers was easy, I walked in, confirmed that my order was paid for (We were blessed to have our friend purchase the whole thing for us as a wedding gift!!), pulled my car around and everything was carefully loaded in by their staff. The flowers were very fresh and lasted not only during the reception, but several of our guests took home the centerpieces and bunches of flowers that are still going today (5 days after the reception) which is a great sign that these guys had premium flowers!
