Good idea, great price, but can use some improvement. Maybe just charge $5 each way for those that will not be taking the shuttle round-trip. Or if you do pay $10 for a round trip maybe it does not all have to be on the same day. I know I was there during the week and off-peak season, but if you add a few more shuttles and just make constant loops, then we don't have to worry about reserving shuttle times or waiting very long for another shuttle. On our Hotels recomendation we used this service. BAD IDEA! We were told by there driver if we were at the appointed stop that we would be picked up and returned to our hotel. We were there but there were more people than spots on the bus and therfore we had to wait another hour.To top it off there dispatch was Very Rude and basicly told us that Tuff wait or call an Uber! Unfortunate I can't give a zero star review. The shuttle was late picking us up for our evening. We were told to be here at 9:20 for the 9:30 shuttle. When we arrived, we weren't one of the first 25. Therefore, we were told we had to wait an additional hour before our ride back. We planned our dinner reservations and evening on the 9:30 shuttle. Did I mention this was a slow Wednesday night? Was a great concept and the ride from our hotel to downtown was great. Was told that they pick up in front of the Country Music Hall of Fame on every half hour (5:30, 6:30,7:30 etc). Was there at 5:15 and at 5:45 still no show so I called and was told that they had been there and picked up 21 people. I said that wasn't possible as I had been waiting since 5:15. They said I don't know what to tell you and hung up. My husband called back and nicely asked the same question and was told that there had been 2 buses there! My husband said that was a lie as we had been waiting since 5:15 and there had been no buses and the gentleman hung up. Found out that the next bus rolled up at 6:10 loaded and took off no where near the time we were told to be there. Horrible service. I would use this service again if I was hitting Broadway on a Friday or Saturday night simply due to the price. $10 round trip per person versus UBer Surge pricing is worth it, but barely based upon the service. I used it recently for a Friday and Saturday night and each time had two drivers that spoke about having to be on time to meet them and how punctual they were with their schedules. However, each night they showed up at least 20 minutes past pick up times at the drop off locations. On our pickup today, Sylvia was backing out of our hotel parking lot at 5:58 for a 06:00 pickup despite the fact my wife and I were literally walking out to her bus. They are going to save you some money, but the service in my opinion is only worth dealing with when the other option is a $60 Uber due to surge pricing. Sunday through Thursday just get the Uber if you are planning to stay out past 9:30 anyways because was the latest pick up during the week. read more

I felt it important to share our experience with this service due to the low ratings they were given years ago. Taking this shuttle saved us a tremendous amount of time! Bill W. was an excellent driver. He knew the easy ins and outs of Nashville! He was on time with scheduled pickup and was a pleasure to talk with. I believe some the lower star reviews here were people confused about what "bottom of the hour" meant so confirm your pickup time before exiting the shuttle would be my advice. We get ready to head back to the hotel get on the shuttle and we're told we could not ride because we were drunk. What is that not what that is for???? Our driver, Arthur, picked us up at Two Rivers RV Park and immediately won our hearts! We had 16 people on the bus, and as he drove safely to take us downtown, he chatted and joked with all of us. He told us about local sites that we should try and visit on our stay in Nashville. On the shuttle back, he even took a little extra time to show us the bar where Randy Travis was discovered. He was truly entertaining and delightful! This was a great deal, $10 for a round trip ticket. We drove 5 hours to get to our hotel (Sheridan)and was informed that our room wasn't available for checkin yet .. the front desk lady suggested this company to get downtown to meet our group (reunion) .. she called them for us and said they were picking up at the hotel in 5 minutes .. we quickly used the restroom (since we were on the road 5 hours) and told the driver that I had to park my car since it was temporarily in front of the hotel for checkin purposes .. The guy remarked: "I have several stops to make" As I parked seriously 100 feet away and was running to the shuttle, he drove off!! My husband was standing tight there on the curb! The only reason they are getting one star, is because zero stars is not an option. We used the shuttle to get from The Country Inn and Suites to downtown Nashville, to take a couple of tours. We made our way to the Country Music Hall of Fame (their downtown Pickup spot) for the 10:30 bus. The bus ran out of seats leaving about 10 of us with the choice of standing in the aisle or waiting an hour for the next shuttle. We opted to stand, because hello, we were going to be left outside late at night in a city that we are unfamiliar with. When we got onto the bus, we first noticed this abrupt female driver, had a "service" dog laying on a dog bed on in the front of the bus. She pulled the door shut, and pulled away. As she did, she told a story about her days of transporting horses, culminating with her comparing us to horses. She then tried to tell us how it is recently legal for her to transport standees. This is a LIE!!! The US-DOT ( federal agency) states that in order to stand passengers, the bus must be equipped with stantions or rails for those who are standing to hold on to. This bus did not have anything for us to hold on to. The federal regulation also states that aisles must remain clear at all times the bus is in motion (second law she broke). Then the topping of the cake, she was going to drop off hotels in such an order that those of us standing would have to get on and off the bus repeatedly to allow others to disembark. Only when she heard us verbally protest that decision did she go to where those of us standing were first, clearing the aisle for those lucky enough to snag a seat. As we got off, she tried to act like she did us a favor. I looked past her as we got off the bus. I then noticed something that if I saw it in Nashville, I wouldnt have gotten on. Her front tire was bald. Long story short ( I know, too late), would i ride with them again? HELL NO !!! read more

I was a little hesitant to use the service because of the reviews here. Since I was going to a show at the Ryman and I'm not familiar with the area I decided to just make a reservation to my hotel. Kenny was my driver. He was a wealth of knowledge about the city and music history. It was like having one of those tour companies that tells you all about the city. He was sharp and super friendly. Talking with him will be one of the things I remember about this trip. After my show he was waiting at the meeting spot at sixth and commerce. Couldn't have worked out better. This shuttle is very convenient WHEN it keeps to its schedule. The drivers overall are quite nice. One driver in particular was exceptional. FRED literally came to the rescue. Several people were waiting for the shuttle due to arrive at 5:30 and had tickets for the Grand Ole Opry for that evening. Fred arrived on his normal 6:30 route. We explained our situation to him and he, with the permission of our fellow riders ,took us directly to the show site. Not only did he get us there he gave us his direct phone number and came back to get us us after the show. MANY MANY THANKS TO FRED. The office staff however leaves A LOT to be desired. In the morning when people are requesting rides to downtown they are adequate. HOWEVER when the problem arose with the shuttle not coming they were downright rude and disrespectful. When we called to advise them of the situation and seek a resolution they offered no explanation nor did they offer to dispatch another vehicle. They said they would find out what went wrong and call back - never happened. When another person called they HUNG UP ON HER. After that they would not even answer the phone. We were told they pick up every half hr, boy was that a lie! We had planned out our day where we had time if we got picked up at 5:30 that would give us plenty of time to get back to our camp, take our fur baby for a walk and spend time with her, then freshen up to go to concert at 7. I texted the number and let them know i didnt appreciate being hung up on without some kind of update, someone by the name of amee called me back and said idk what's going on but someone is coming. Needless to say it was about 6:45 before someone got there to get us. Then he took the ones to the concert that had their tickets with them which held us up even more, we also asked the driver to take us to our campground first since we were late but no he took the others to theirs and they were next door, so not out of his way!!! We didn't Carry ours because for 1 we didn't want to lose them and 2 there was no reason we shouldn't had been back in time. Now if they would had been an accident or some kind of explanation I could had understood. But for you to run your company with the standards of being rude and hanging up on not just 1 but 2 of your customers his just not the way a business should be conducted. Then I asked several times to have the owner give me a call and that has yet to happen!! Not only were we late to our concert but missed the person I really paid to see. At our campground we saw Downtown Shuttle and inquired about it. This service will pick you up at your campground or hotel and take you to Broadway & 4th to the Honky Tonk/Downtown area of Nashville. A very reasonable ten dollar round trip fee is charged and tips are always welcomed for the drivers. The driver points out points of interest along the road and answers questions if you have any. Very reasonable and very responsible for people who want to go out and have a night or day of fun. Drink if you want and leave the driving to Downtown Shuttle. read more

We had no A.C. on 3 of our trips to downtown Nashville and back to our hotel it was about 98 degrees out and I had my 79 year old mother with me. By the time we arrived at our destination our shirt's were soaking wet. On our final use of the shuttle the older man driving the shuttle was rude. He commented on us complaining to the office and told us either stay on or get off, which he said it in front of the entire bus. I feel it was unacceptable to use the shuttle with no A.C. The shuttle is a good way to get around without having to deal with traffic and finding parking. However, the drivers do not stay on schedule and run late, but they will NOT wait a couple of minute for you! We had a group of 8 waiting to get their tickets for the Hall of Fame and the driver knew it as well as the backup driver in the shuttle behind him that was empty. I took 4 rides with the Downtown Shuttle from Fiddler's Inn to downtown. The first driver was great. He explained the process clearly. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He operated the vehicle in a safe manner. The second trip was with Bubba, the only time I got a name. Again it was a great ride. Our fourth trip the driver took just the two of us so we wouldn't have to wait longer, we waited about 10 minutes and no other riders showed up. Those three drivers earned 5 stars. The third driver deserved about half a star and that is only because we survived. He had two near collisions, both not his fault but he could have avoided them being that close if he had not been on his phone. Yes, on his phone selecting music for the ride. Music is nice but safety and being legal is better. Several of us put on our seatbelts, and were very grateful for them. He was not friendly, did not really speak to the passengers, except to ask for tips. I cannot say if he was knowledgeable but he could use some remedial commercial driver training. Maybe the buses should have cameras pointed at the driver to see the behaviors. he seemed to be offended when I asked if they did. Hard braking, near collisions, and hand held cell phone use are never acceptable and less so for so called professionals. He gives the whole operation as bad name. read more

I understand things happen and maybe this isn't the norm. However, when we called to inquire about the delay (after already waiting 15 min past the scheduled pick up time), the representative was extremely rude.
