It's a pretty car-friendly city but for all the students in town these buses are clean and invaluable. Overall it's a decent network if not groundbreaking, but the bus from the airport (I've only taken it once) was a nightmare that took forever (never again). It reminded me of some of the awful buses to LAX and JFK, only Nashville doesn't have the excuse of being a huge endless metropolis. Anyway, My Tummy Aches.

Just as I started to sit down on a bench outside. My butt hadn't even touched the bench yet and I replied 'no' as I didn't have a ticket yet. The employee then yelled ' well you can't sit there'...the benches were completely empty with only a few people standing outside. Is this a common practice? Running off potential customers to preserve a few benches that aren't being used? If so, it's a terrible business model. Also train your employees to have a better customer service disposition to potential customers. He could have easily said 'Can I interest you all in a tour?'...but no he had to show us who was in charge and ran us off. But cool with me. I don't want to patronize places like this anyway. There is a million things to do in this city.

After a week of research, it was looking like we were going to have to elope by ourselves. We stumbled across The Nashville Shuttle, being the main transportation from our RV campground. I took a chance and reached out to them with our plan. The staff connected me with Paris, the unbelievably kind and humble owner He immediately offered to add an extra shuttle for our wedding day, for our guests only. He showed up in the beloved "Grandma" shuttle and drove us himself. He absolutely went out of his way to do so many little and big things that made us, and our whole group, feel special, and ready to party. Just keep in mind that there's an upstairs section for the buses you don't see downstairs. And you should probably use an app or hit Google Maps which tells you which parking bay your next bus is awaiting you. Each bay is numbered, but that number will not necessarily represent the number of your bus. Other than that, I honestly would not know where to go if I hadn't come prepared. Perhaps there is an information desk upstairs, which I did not need to use during my few times here. Although it's open air, the place gets hot (at least when I was here during the summer), even though it's a covered location. There are a handful of seats for each bay. And at least at my bay, there was a wall filled with all of the other buses' schedules. There is an electronic sign letting you know when your bus is *supposed* to get there. It was only my second time using the bus when my bus came roughly 15 minutes later than it was scheduled. There is a waiting room with extra seats at one end of the station. But I personally don't see the convenience of it if you're time-conscious and like to hurry when your bus comes around. Outside of the station on Charlotte Street, I believe there is a Dunkin' Donuts.
