We hired JB Maison Group for drywall repairs in three areas: dining room ceiling, finished attic…read morewall, and wall in our bathroom. Two areas needed sheetrock and mud and the third just needed mud for the wall. I was hesitant to go with this company since they didn't have any reviews yet, but since they had the Yelp Shield guarantee (up to $2500) I took the chance. I am glad none of the other contractors got back to me because I couldn't be happier with the work and performance of the contractor/this company. Communication from the get go was excellent starting from New Years Day when I first reached out. Always responded quickly. I have had some really bad experiences in the past with contractors (especially drywall) and my husband is extremely picky so I was very nervous! I will definitely use this company again for any future work and highly recommend them. Alfredo Reyes is who did our work. He did speak very little English, but the only time we really needed to communicate (confirming arrival time for the next day) we texted the company and they answered immediately, so that was a non-issue. Alfredo was friendly, always on time and cleaned up very well. The job was completed quickly and on time. The price for the job was also very reasonable. Very, very pleased.

Hired the carpenter to install new front doors that came with a jamb. Paid top dollar ($1200.) only…read moreto have multiple areas of damage to our brand new doors (see attached photos). The doors are fiberglass and the manufacturing company told me it would take a major blow to crack and indent the exterior surface of this door. When I pointed out the damages to the jamb to the carpenter, I was told "it came that way." They did not come that way. It took 2 days for 2 supposedly experienced carpenters to install doors that they had to remove after fully installed to correct problems that kept the doors from shutting. They were almost almost an hour late each day. They took 3 to 4 cigarette breaks per hour. They were not prepared with basics such as screws of various lengths, tools needed to plane a warped area in the opening for the door, spray foam to seal gaps in spaces, etc. I reached out to the carpenter and he flatly denied any damage occurred due to their installation and work with our doors. No willingness to assume any responsibility for their substandard work. Use caution if you hire this company. We have to buy another door to replace the damaged one.

After 12 years of tenants, my rental house needed a complete renovation. After interviewing quite…read morea few companies, I chose Frick's Home Services. Although Frick's was among the more affordable companies, I chose them based on Joseph's genuine sincerity in making sure I was happy with the work. He thoroughly explained how he would do things, made recommendations that saved me money and put all the specifics in writing. I appreciated his attention to details. Joseph and his crew did a magnificent job bringing this worn, disheveled, damaged house back to life. The home looks fresh and brand new. Every wall, ceiling and trim was painted. I have all new, gorgeous flooring. They made all kinds of repairs to the house, that if I had to hire someone for every kind of repair, would have cost me much more. I am thrilled with my "new" house and grateful to Joseph and his team of professionals.

They handled the repair project from start to finish. The drywall and paint job looked just as good as the original. The price was reasonable for the high quality work, and I didn't have to stay on top of them like I have with other companies. I would highly recommend this company.

Not only did he do a great job, he went to Lowe's to pick up the new door for me as I had no way to get it home. They were very professional and thorough. Several times he would not respond to our text messages asking when he would be here, and we had no idea when he planned to show up day after day. We prepaid him for work that was not completed, and there were many broken promises over several weeks as to when he would be here to finish the work. We could not get a firm completion date from him. His subcontractors have contacted us for money as we are being told by them that they never got paid, however we did give this money to Ben who hired these folks. Very disappointing experience as we tried to be flexible with our schedule and work with him. In the end, we needed to let him go so we could get someone in to finish up the work for us.
