Old Port

Park Naked Parked…read morehere while visiting DT Portland as it was downtown adjacent and we don't mind walking. The Good: *As stated above, it was a good location near the heart of DT Portland and everything was just a short 5-10min walk away. *Up front pricing (this will be evident why this is important later) *We liked the design of the panic garage, as it was easy and hassle-free, unlike a lot of these modern garages that are waaayyyyyy too complicated for their own good. The Meh: *$5/hr w/ a max of $50/all-day. While not terrible, there were cheaper parking garages around but it is what it is. Fwiw, these prices are more expensive than parking in SF, so put that in your pipe and smoke it. The Ugly: *We have friends in the area, and they warned us of "predatory parking garages" that don't state their prices before entering. So, if you don't see a price then do not enter or prepare to pay the consequences. Conclusion: Not the worst place to park, but there's better options.

Parking at this location is predatory at best. Upon entering the garage, there is no signage…read moreindicating any such hourly or flat rate for parking. I parked here for 9 hours and paid $45- this is a Boston rate in a city far smaller. The garage was nowhere near full, but if the price were displayed prior to entering, business would likely drop off from the few that park here. There's ample parking nearby, so why not lower the rate to keep it competitive? If you set a day rate of $20/day I would think there would be far more business than presently. Recommendations: -Be transparent and display your rates BEFORE people enter. Failing to do so is a predatory tactic. -Lower your rates so people would actually park here, especially if you plan to display rates. The garage is 7 levels and most of them are empty during peak morning hours. -Consider a day/flat rate pricing. -If you are going for hourly, tell me what amount it caps at if at all.

West Bayside

Yeah so their 120$ a month. But since I live on Congress and High St it would be way more expensive…read moreto pay the meter everyday plus get additional parking tickets from time to time. And I'm going to tell you what come December when the city's covered in snow for 5 straight months I'm going to absolutely love spending every bit of that hundred twenty dollar monthly wnnbybbnnnnu. Never having to scoop ice off my car or snow in itself will be worth $120. And I really also must think the Westin who loved it is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. so when it's raining or snowing I can sneak from Congress Street and my home tgru the warm covered indoor and outdoor walkways to the garage. I also really like how simple parking is. Only monthly card holders can exit on Forest. I have ALWAYS been able to park within sight of elevator and no higher than the third floor. I like the hotel parking is a separate area and that no matter what or how busy the garage is, I never have to worry as a monthly Parker about having a spot for my car.

I live in congress so getting a monthly pass to this garage was a no brainer…read more. 90 a month and you skip out on having to deal with meters, snow removal, etc. Closed on weekends so make sure you bring your swipe card or you will have to pay 25 to be let in. -- this happened to me this weekend but we caught 4 valet workers from the westin running in and were able to avoid the 25! If you don't want to deal with meters or shoveling out your car... Go for it!!
