Okay this does not go for the WHOLE mall, but today i was in there shopping with one of my friends…read moreand we were talking in front of this new dubai chocolate stand, And as we are talking the man who runs the stand walked up next to us and said"it's $21.99 for one chocolate bar"FIRST OF ALL I WASNT EVEN TALKING TO HIM-and second i didn't even want a chocolate bar...so i just said "okay?"and kept talking, and because i am a teenage girl that doesn't have a debit card-i was holding my money in my hand cuz we literally stopped to talk about some personal stuff on the way to ulta...(the reason we had came here)but this guy takes the $25 i have in my hand and hands me a chocolate bar saying"$25 will work i guess"AND ONCE AGAIN I AM A TEEN GIRL AND THIS MAN IS PROBABLY IN HIS 30S SO OF COURSE IM NOT GOING TO GET PISSY WITH A GUY 10x LARGER THAN ME,SOOO I JUST WALK AWAY CONFUSED.Once again this is nothing towards the mall but 100% towards the owner of this stand...This guy was disrespectful,scandalous,and just overall rude‍

This is a true example of a mom and pop shop. I looked at their website and Instagram posts. Due to it being owner ran she is not open like big stores. Make sure to call or message on Facebook or instagram to get times or book an appointment through her website. I was only in town a few days so I needed to go on Saturday. I reached out via messenger on instagram and was contacted back within an hour. She was not open on Saturday because she was having a pop up event at a local brewery. $85 for a beer, hat and accessories. That was a great deal. In store prices can range from $90-$200 depending on the hat and accessories you pick. Got to brewery at 12, hats were first come first served. I tried on a few colors until it settled on my tan hat. Next step was to pick the accessories to make your hat truly yours. I picked ribbon, flowers, feathers, cards, and even had it branded. Whole process took about 1 hour, even with about 15 other people in there for the same thing. Next time I am in town I will be going back to Wild J Trading to get another hat.

The pieces Jenn brings in are better than local department stores, and always great quality. I have also had my old felt and straw hats updated through the large selection of hat accessories the store has to offer. Inside the store has been updated and there are 100s of cowboy boots on display, sorted by size. There is western wear for men, women and kids. ...and lots of hats. The management was terrible and the store manager was constantly micromanaging everybody. Also my new coworkers were incredibly lazy and hard to get along with. One BIG red flag here was that management would instruct Hardside associates to clock out after the store closed, lock the doors, then make everyone wait until the cashiers finished counting their drawers before employees were free to leave. This would sometimes take more than a 1/2 hour! RIDICULOUS! Not to mention its against OSHA regulation 1910.36(d)(1) to lock the doors with people inside. "Employees must be able to open an exit route door from the inside at all times without keys, tools, or special knowledge. A device such as a panic bar that locks only from the outside is permitted on exit discharge doors".
