This explains why i rarely go on a real vacation Whenever i have gone away i have been fortunate to have someone stay in my home with him. I moved back here 3 months ago and had a chance to go away last weekend BUT...what to do about my kid? I dont have a sitter yet and friends and family are too far away to stay over. Boarding him was NOT an Option. I found BCC and reached out to Dania. She was totally amazing! Came to the house to meet J - we went for a walk together so she could see what a brat he is and she told me about her company and the sitters who work for her. To say Dania LOVES animals is an understatement. U can tell how passionate she is about their well-being and you just know that she would never have anyone on her staff that she wouldn't trust to take care of her own kids. Mind you this was only 3days before i was hoping to go away. I asked if she would be able to accommodate and she didnt even blink! She set up meet and greets for me with a couple of her sitters and they were both awesome. Kimberly is the one who drew the short straw with J . I hope shes ok but i can report that She spoiled him more than i do! She even let him sleep with her and he IS a blanket hog Dania and Kimberley were super respectful of my home AND Dania's is the first sitter service i've had that provided me a copy of her insurance and DL as well as the girls'. I didnt even need to ask. Kimberley walked J in the am gave him breakfast returned for midday walk then back for dinner, walk and bedtime. She even fed my chatty cockatiel AND washed dishes WHAT??? Dania Kimberley and I were in contact through the weekend via text and Kimberley sent several pics of THE KING! BCC also offers daily walks which we will be using on days I need to be in the office. Payment is easy - Dania sends invoice and offers several ways to pay (we used Paypal). Now that i've found BCC im going to be taking more vacations!!! As for J? He keeps hinting that he cant wait until i go away again - hes staring at my suitcase as i write this review. Thanks Dania!!

I've been out of town several times and my dog was wonderfully taken care of. They made sure he was never bored or lonely and even brought him baked treats. The folks at BCC go beyond what is expected of any dog walking service. I've had last minute walking needs several times in the past, and they've jumped into action to help me and care for my dog. I never worry when he's with them. They're genuine, fair, thoughtful, and honest dog-loving people. I'd recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Bov, the owner of Dog Bath & Beyond, does a wonderful job! My Macallan come out looking so adorable. Bov listens closely and makes sure he has the perfect coat for the season. I like to leave his hair a little longer in the winter so that he can feel warm, and in the summer I get him closely cropped so that he can enjoy his outside romps. I appreciate the weekend hours because I'm not always able to get him there during the week. I bring him in between his quarterly grooming appointments to get his nails trimmed and his ear hair addressed. Mac loves Bov and gives her kisses while he's on the grooming table. I highly recommend Dog Bath and Beyond.

I called you a couple months ago because one of my pet parents (I am a breeder)…read morecalled me just panicking because she was on vacation and her neighbor friends that were watching her puppy Frankie, a ten month old miniature dachshund and unfortunately they were unable to sleep because he was whining and up all night crying and they could not sleep and that now she needed to find a place for him to stay immediately. Although they were, at the time reserved and very busy, they took the time to speak with me on the phone and go over everything with what they did with the pups and how they took care of them each individually and very conscientiously and with great care and I was very impressed with their service and the level of care they provided for the pet parents' fur babies. They reassured me that they would do everything possible to make sure he was extremely well taken care of and that his separation anxiety was also addressed while his mom was away on business so that way when she came home he would be a better puppy and most likely to react as strongly when she went away the next time. I like that they have specific program just for separation anxiety to calm the pets as well, you can tell they take a lot of pride in their work and really care about the animals and that the customers are happy with the great level of care they provide for their babies. I would recommend this place because I would even choose this place myself for my pets, if I were ever visiting there in Jersey City that is, and that really says a lot.

Also 4 out of the 6 schedule visits the sitters showed up more than two hours late. On top of that the tracking app and check-in and check-out scans were very conveniently "not working " luckily we have a home security system that records the times they were there. In one occasion we also noticed they didn't bother to clean the litter box so we had to contact their boss and make them go back to clean it. How ridiculous I am doing that so called bosses job. Not to mention the sitter looked in boxes that looked like jewelry boxes luckily we had hid those away beforehand. So if you are ok with all this go for it. Otherwise you are better off getting someone off the street to pet sit for you. No it is not a mistake. I literately spoke to Pedro over the phone and he made up excuses and he still charged me. I'm adding the payment I made. I can't believe they have no shame. Specially after being so negligent, wow, everyone stay away this is the type of people you let in your home.

I could pickup and drop off any time, which was a godsend. I've toured every pet care facility in Jersey City, and I feel pretty comfortable saying that EDL is the best one. I love that they only take small and gentle dogs--I saw a few dogs get rejected/expelled because their size/temperament wasn't a match. They are way more selective than the other daycare facilities in the area. I guess for some families that would be a problem, but for someone like me with a small, gentle dog, it provided a lot of peace of mind to know my dog was safe. Other things I loved: - Regular outdoor walks through the day (unlike other facilities, which just mop up after the dogs) - James and crew really seem to love the dogs - No reservations needed with corporate month plan - Plenty of carpets and couches felt like home - Can watch my dog play through the window - Never more than ~12 dogs at a time, so it's not too crowded. My only complaints are that I wish there was more space and a webcam feed, but it's not that big of a deal.

Previously…read moreour pug was going to Jersey City Unleashed however the staff there was very mean and the procedures became very rigid and frustrating when the pandemic hit and we made the switch. JC Unleashed no longer exists so it's a good thing we got our pug setup at Bow Wow when we did. Getting Martin (our pug) established at Bow Wow was pretty simple. Martin goes for day care 2-3 times a week when we are working in the city and for boarding when we have long weekends away. The staff are super friendly and they really love him - he's a senior dog and usually just follows the workers around when they are in the play room or chills in the corner. He's participated in a couple of their group enrichment activities like making a mother's day frame - so cute. We are pleased with Bow Wow and will continue to utilize their services for as long as we live in Hoboken.
