Been to several beginner group dance lessons at this fine establishment and have enjoyed it each…read moretime. All of the staff is friendly and nice. They try to learn the students names and it feels more like a relaxed family atmosphere. The actual facility is very clean, spacious, well-decorated, and has comfortable seating while you are waiting for your class. Thankfully, there is also a water fountain and water dispenser. The other students are friendly as well and the dance studio location is in a safe area with plenty of parking. Their website has a monthly calendar that lists all of the scheduled classes and events. There's a wide breath of styles including salsa, swing, ballet, cha cha, and even line dancing. You can drop in and pay by the class (around $15-20), but I hear there's a monthly option that allows you to take all classes at a discounted rate. In the classes I have been to, the instructors demonstrate the dance moves, walk through the steps with the students, and then have rotating partner dances for practice.

Another Beautiful and Unforgettable Night at Starpoint Studio…read more Last night, we experienced yet another wonderful event that Gian and Diana have made us fortunate enough to enjoy time and time again. Once again, they brought us an evening filled with joy, entertainment, elegance, art, and unforgettable moments. My heartfelt gratitude goes to all the participants -- the musicians, performers, artists, instructors, and everyone involved -- for delighting us with such an amazing experience. The passion, dedication, and talent displayed throughout the evening made it truly special. Events like this remind us of the power of art to bring people together and create happiness. I already wish the next event was here! Thank you, Starpoint Studio, for another extraordinary night filled with friendship, inspiration, and beautiful memories. With gratitude and appreciation, Eduardo Mondragón

I had taken some classes many years ago and like many of you looking at these reviews before…read moredeciding on dance classes, I was anxious about the prospect of dancing in front of other people. My memory for doing the steps on my own is not so great, however, my trepidations were erased as soon as I took my first class. This is an award-winning husband and wife team. As soon as I set foot in the door Danny and his lovely wife Catia immediately made me feel welcome. My instructor is Danny and he had me dancing right away. He is great on helping me with my form and helps by repeating the moves until I get it. He is encouraging, kind, helpful and respectful which goes a long way towards easing my nerves. The ballroom is very beautiful, elegant and large. Even after the first few weeks of lessons I had a grasp on the major dances and feel confident enough to go out dancing. I'm still taking lessons and getting better all the time. I highly recommend Grand Ballroom and Dance Sport USA.

One of the specials was for new students as a couple to come in for three 30 minute sessions for $60. So, I brought my fiance to learn to dance with me. The staff here is very nice. The instructor is very patient as neither my fiance nor myself know how to dance. I really enjoyed the two lessons we have had so far. Dancing lessons can be requested for styles including the foxtrot, waltz, etc. This place also holds parties for students. They have package pricing if you want to continue. I would definitely recommend checking them out.

I highly recommend this yoga course, it is a must for 1st time & if you've taken yoga before you can just get right back into the flow. First-time participants can also get into the flow immediately. I highly recommend this class.

I registered my daughter for this program fall 2023, she had a good time and the facility was…read moreclean, she also participated in a camp on the summer. august 2024 I contacted the studio asked if we could try out a hip hop class, they said yes and my daughter did and I wasn't impressed and my daughter thought it was boring... after the class, I asked my daughter (who is 6) if she wanted to do a ballet class because I had heard that some of her friends were going to be attending this class as well she said maybe.. The Monday before the class Hope (the owner) contacted me via text message to see if I would be registering my daughter for the hip-hop class (Which I thought was strange) I responded with I think we're going to do ballet. I think it's on Tuesday... Hope responded with they had a Tuesday class and a Wednesday class I told her I think we will be attending the Tuesday class however my daughter is not feeling well but we will try to make it The owner responded with I will add her to the roster I hope she feels better. I responded with thank you, because that's what you do when someone tells you that they hope your child feels better when they're not well. A few minutes later, she charged my credit card, which I didn't even know until I had looked at my statement did not know that her telling me she was going to add my daughter to the roster meant she was going to register my child for this class. I wasn't even sure if we were going to make it, I had planned on registering my child the night we attended the class. I did not know that "I'm going to add her to the roster" meant that you're going to pay for this class now I'm fighting with the credit card company trying to get a refund for a class that my daughter did not attend and for a class that I did not register my daughter for. I'm the one who should decide if I register my child for a class or not the owner took it upon herself to keep my credit card information on file since June 2024 to then turn around and charge my credit card in August 2024 without my permission. She did not ask me if I wanted my child registered for the class. She simply said I'm going to add her to the roster. When I told her I wanted a refund because we're not going to do the class she told me she couldn't give me a refund. I picked up the phone and tried to call her. She didn't even answer my call. She just simply continued to send me text messages. Then in the same conversation, she told me that she would give me a 50% refund. Honestly, it's not about the money. It's the simple fact that I didn't give this company permission to charge my card. I didn't give permission to register my child for this class.. Going forward, I would hope that they would not conduct business via text messaging and I would hope that next time they charge somebody's credit card that they need to spell out I am adding your child to the roster, which means I am taking it upon myself to register your child for this class. I never thought that I would be going back-and-forth about an extracurricular activity that I never registered for that my child never attended. This whole situation has been completely ridiculous, unnecessary and unprofessional

If you register on their website, you can even get the first class for free (usually $25). I like the class because it really gets deep into the fundamentals unlike some of the other beginner classes at other dance studios. Couple tips: -There's no water fountain, so need to bring bottle water or they may have some available for purchase. -There's a pet cat who roams around in case you are allergic.

I have visited Ambiance several times for Argentine Tango lessons and have enjoyed it each time…read more The instructor, Susana, is very passionate about Tango dance and her personality helps make the class fun, interesting, and informative. The classes are two hours and go by quickly. There are warm ups, instructional time, demonstrations, partner practice dancing, and instructor feedback. Susana tries to keep it a relaxed, family atmosphere and is very welcoming of new students. The facility is nice, clean, and comfortable. There are ample bathrooms. I believe there is a water dispenser, but I usually just bring a bottle of water. There's only a small parking lot, so you may have to find a spot on one of the side-streets nearby. The students are of various experience levels and also friendly. New students can attend solo and use socks until they get some proper dance shoes. I have taken some classes at other studios for different styles of dancing and Susana's class is my favorite. I find it the most challenging, appreciate the extended class time & depth of explanation, and like the physical training exercises the best. If you haven't tried Argentine Tango @ Ambiance yet, I recommend giving it a shot and think it will fundamentally improve you as a dancer overall.

The owner of the studio was so welcoming and open her studio for the sound meditation event. If you haven't been to a sound meditation it has to be one of my favorite experiences. At the end of the class I left the studio completely relaxed. Thank you to Katrina that led the class such an amazing experience.
