And just as happy when they announced they'd found a new space and were planning to reopen. I have to say, having visited there a few times now, I'm pretty disappointed. The new space is still downtown, but a few blocks west of their previous location. Where parking was free at that spot, it's metered at this one. When I think of all the vacant retail spaces in town, many with parking lots or at least free street parking, it leaves me perplexed. And the new space itself is so incredibly small and disjointed. It's separated into multiple, small rooms. Their inventory is but a shadow of its former self. And the prices have gone up. Wayyyy up. Perhaps most perplexing is the complete lack of classroom space, which they'd gone to so much trouble to add in their own space. Combined all of this with semi-surly, N95'd employees and well... to put it simply...I don't see the appeal in returning here anytime soon. For now, I miss the old Ragfinery and hope they turn things around.

I would yap with them while I was resting between sets but would try and keep it short to be able to finish using the machine. Someone comes up to me and says something along the lines of are you using this machine while i was getting up to switch with my friend. I said yes I have one more set and my friend is just starting. They tell us to stop talking so much and hurry up, we say sorry and let him use the machine to avoid any trouble. They walks away and another person goes up to them and says I glad you said something they are taking too long. All of the items were clean, and there wasn't really any "junk" to sift through to find treasures. As always, I started in the kitchen area, where I'm always looking for some interesting bowl, jar, or rare kitchen gadget to add to my collection. Then, I meandered over to the linens, through the furniture, over to clothing, and of course spent a considerable amount of time in their crafting and book area. Their prices were super reasonable, and the staff (who all - or most - appear to be volunteers) were very friendly and helpful. Visited this Goodwill location a few months ago…read more In short: the prices have gone up enough that it's almost not worth stopping by anymore. I'm sure rents have gone up and Goodwill is feeling the pinch like a lot of businesses/not for profits these days but when your closest competition is Value Village and your prices match or exceed VV's, that's a red flag to me. Our most recent visit was definitely our most disappointing one. I found a number of interesting looking games, two of which had multiple price stickers. These two were both card games and when I brought these to the attention of an employee I was told that the higher of the marked prices were the most recent. Each of those card games was priced at $10, which to me was ludicrous. On the other hand, large boxed games like Monopoly were less than that. Clothing was also more expensive than I'm used to in this shop and so I found very little of interest. The selection and quality varies widely as you might expect, so you never know what you're going to find. Plenty of parking out front and the staff were friendly enough.
