So why the five stars? I had contacted them about my dryer that was heating up but not drying clothes. I had every intention of setting an appointment for them to come out and help fix it. I found them on Yelp because of their good reviews. The more details I gave, they told me that they thought I should call a "air duct and dryer vent cleaning company." While there was always a chance the dryer was broken, they truly felt that this would fix the issue it more than having one of their service techs come out. So five stars for honesty and integrity. And I can tell you if and when my dryer does stop working completely, which is probably only a matter of time, I will definitely consider calling this company or visiting their store and getting a new dryer from them versus Lowe's or Home Depot.

A 2nd floor townhouse with a 90-degree turn near the top. Brendon and Shane did the uninstall, haul away and installed the new Speed Queen without complaint. Thank you guys! The Very Bad: Brendon and Shane failed to remove a tie down bracket that prevents the tub from shifting during shipping and delivery. On our first use, there was a terrible metallic grinding sound. The unit shook so vigorously that it walked itself across the floor, then blew the door open and puked water on the floor ... before pulling the electrical cord tight enough to unplug itself. More Good: I called to request service on a Saturday afternoon ... and Scott arrived at 10AM Monday. He pulled the front panel and immediately identified the root cause - failure of the installers to remove the tie down bracket. He inspected the unit and found no damage. Whew!

I stumbled upon a news article about the opening just this afternoon and made a beeline for them almost immediately. I'm in the market for a new dresser and thought it would be good to get there sooner rather than later. The space is no frills, pretty open concept with everything stretched before you. It's a huge space tho, so there's a lot to browse. They opened just yesterday and we were informed that many of their outdoor pieces were snatched up but there was still A TON of stuff to consider. If you're looking for a new couch or living room furniture you have to get there now because that makes up the majority of their stock. I also spent some time with the dining tables as I'm looking for a new one for our house as well. It's an outlet so, as expected, what you're going to lose in slightly damaged pieces you'll make up in markdowns. They had a number of beautiful pieces that I had admired on their websites (this store covers Crate and Barrel, CB2, and Crate and Barrel Kids, FYI) with injuries ranging from small nicks to full on scratches and damaged corners (those pieces were priced accordingly, tho). There was a really nice dining table with a few leafs that I considered but after spending almost 15 years with a scratched up table I inherited from a cousin I think that's one item I'd like to be in pristine condition if I can help it. They also have a ton of office furniture, a bit of patio, beds/headboards, nightstands, sideboards/buffets, consoles, coffee tables, etc. They also had a lot of dressers. I considered a couple but the space I'm looking to fill is on the smaller side and there weren't any options this time around petite enough. But it was cool to see so many of the dressers I'd drooled over on their website pretty deeply marked down (an additional 50% on bedroom furniture) without any noticeable damage. The perimeters of the store are filled with shelves full of decor and other home items like bedding, hampers, and a ton of kitchenware like dish sets, serving ware, pots and pans and even a few small appliances like microwaves and even a KitchenAid mixer on sale. The thing about outlets, though, is if you go in looking for anything in particular you're probably NOT going to find it. But if you go in without expectations you'll surely walk out with a lot of treasures. Since I was in the former camp today I didn't leave with anything but I can't wait to regularly pop over there to scour their new arrivals (a staff person told us they plan to get 2-3 shipments a week) and hopefully bring home something special in the future!

Reminds me of the old department store days when I used to lunch with my Mom and feel like a grown up. It's so fresh, tasty and affordable! The famous meatballs, mashed and gravy do not disappoint!
