UPDATE: I did have to take a half day off work but the process here was quick. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes and the radiologist was extremely nice. Changing it to 4 stars Went to my PCP for a possible bone fracture/sprain. I was told to go get my x-ray at this location. I left my doctors office around 3 pm or so. I tried calling this location to see if they can still take me in but no one ever picked up. Yelp says they close at 5 pm so I went anyway. Turns out, they stop taking in patients after 3pm, which I thought was a little weird because i've had my x-ray taken later than that before at other imaging centers. Anyway, I wasted my time going here and now I gotta take some time off work again just to get my x rays done on a different day. read more

The staffs are not very organized and not efficient at their work. I have requested a CD from the office to mail out my CT scan result to me , the staff told me that it will take 7-10 days to be arrived . I have been waiting for over two weeks and still not getting it! Called the office, a staff told me they couldn't mail out the CD for the clients and a second later he told me the CD was mailed out a few days ago... but I am still not receiving it!!! read more

I had an appointment and was greeted immediately by Eli at the front desk. She was efficient and organized and professional. My ultrasound technician was Kelly and she was amazing. So kind, compassionate, and worked quickly but thoroughly. She was so good about telling me what to expect and she had the nicest demeanor. Good experience every time I come here and I love that their hours are so versatile, open late at night and early in the morning. I was sent a link to book imaging and this was the closest. The scheduling online through them was easy for me since my primary had already sent my information. I just essentially confirmed it, and chose the date and time to come in. The issue began however, when I needed to call and ask a question that mattered whether I needed to reschedule my appointment or show up anyways. As a woman, iykyk. If you call the number online, and on their booking (it's the same), you push option 7 to talk to someone. I have called throughout the past few days, left messages, asked for them to call me back, and nothing. I'm fully aware of lunch times, business hours, etc. They do not answer or return calls. Pushing other options on their directory will simply tell you you have to schedule online - makes sense. There is no option to cancel either. I simply cannot be seen by them because of this. If you can, I'd highly recommend going elsewhere due to whatever is going on behind the scenes here. read more

This lab was easy to find and has quite a bit of parking. Now, we came on a Saturday, so that may well contribute to the availability of parking. Either way, it was a pleasure. We had completed the forms online, and no additional forms needed to be completed at this location. The testing was completed, and we were on our way. I will always tell everyone about my experience here with this ultrasound tech I wish I could remember her name but she was the night shift and she was the sweetest soul I've ever met!! She reassured me that if she saw anything out of the ordinary she will immediately send me to the hospital as I expressed my concerns to her! Her customer service and just the way that you can see how passionate she is about what she does had me in shock! My daughter hurt her leg at school and we went to the Dr to get it checked and they sent us to this place We had the x-ray done with a walk-in appointment and we're seen within 30min The office worker was very nice and also the technician was patient with my daughter since she was nervous. Had a great experience and would go there again for any other xrays or imaging I would ever need. They took great care of us Also the office was small but clean. read more

The technician was very friendly and helpful when it came to doing the actual XRays took place. Very fast without rushing. I only didn't like the parking. Way too many cars. Worst place ever!!!! The wait time was an hour long, the air conditioner was broken (it was 103° that day), the restrooms were appalling and the waiting room was filthy. Not sure who operates this business but rest assured it is a darn shame to operate in such conditions. I went in for X-rays and they did not take as long as I thought, I did have to wait about 45 min because they were on lunch but gave me time to run errands and came back. As soon as I came back I was being called and the technician was very nice. She took good care of me and my baby. The front desk ladies are also nice and patient. Would recommend. Only downside is there are no appointments for X-rays everything is had to be by appointment. Sometimes there are more people than usual read more

Be very careful. They tend to overcharge for copays. It's happened to me at least three times. One time I received a refund check almost a year later. The second time I actually looked it up and was told it was only $100.00 and they wanted to charge me three times the actual copay. I pushed back and had them call the insurance company. I could clearly hear them talking to them about me in the waiting room; clearly a hippa violation. So of course I was right. They apologized and made excuses and charged me the correct amount. The third time they claimed it was too late to call someone to look into it and now I have to call them to have them research it, and try to get a refund. Ridiculous! read more

I'm a first time patient and I scheduled an appointment for an ankle x-ray check up for the day of 8-29-24 for around 3:30pm and I called to confirm on what I was required to take before I started to head over and it took me 3-4 calls for someone to pick up so I followed up with a lady on the phone receptionist I believe and I told her I had an appointment & I was going to pay the fee of $55 and she said they weren't able to take me in due to not having a doctor's recommendation to visit for an ankle x-ray, very disappointed in this place I just wanted to get a quick x-ray checkup to make sure my ankle was not fractured but they were not able to accommodate me after I had already made an appointment, business needs better customer service read more

This was the location recommended by my OB since it's in the same city as their office. Wish I could have done my own research prior. For starters they provided the wrong appointment information. Soonest appointment was almost 3 weeks after the missed appointment. Went for an ultrasound and was informed to drink 32 oz of water prior. After waiting for about an hour and a half as a 24 week pregnant woman it was a horrific experience. Had to get up and find out if I was next. It didn't stop there. I had two large fibroids that totaled about 12 cm aside from being 24 weeks pregnant and the ultrasound tech asked if I was 32 weeks pregnant before know about my fibroids because I looked rather large. Overall a very negative experience in their dingy room where you aren't allowed a support person. read more

I went to get an X-ray of my heel. The actual X-ray process was OK, BUT the waiting room front desk was extremely frustrating. Initially I was told the wait would be an hour. After about 30 minutes, I let the front desk know I was going for a coffee and I'd return. Then I was asked whether I had "registered." I let the lady know I did indeed sign-in, but she said if I hadn't "registered," I'd lose my place in the queue. So after another 40 minutes passed I was FINALLY called up to "register." I felt this register thing was ridiculous since I had my paperwork, medical insurance card, personal ID, AND had already signed in. Try to avoid this place. Their sign-in system is just stupid and the wait was at least an hour and 1/2. I've had better experiences at the DMV... read more

On a last minute walk in, they were able to help us out with our little guy. Lesly in the front desk was beyond helpful in getting us registered and to upload the referral from our primary. The X-Ray technician (tall clean shaven head fella) was helpful, professional and made the experience with a scared toddler easier. I appreciate their prompt service. read more

I originally had an appointment today with Downey events imaging suite 111 and apparently upon arrival they called me up in the registration area and said that my CT scan was yet not approved by my insurance... They were the ones that called me over to place this appointment saying that it had been approved... This is the only reason why I took away a star. Other than that I'm on vacation and I have nothing else on my list otherwise I would probably be irritated like most people, but because I have nothing else to do and it is my health and I am quite patient since my kids are in school... I am fine with waiting or placing the nearest appointment while I wait for them to correctly approve my CT scan with insurance... The only reason why I'm giving it four stars is because the lady in the front named Leslie help me very kindly and was very professional that it made me a little calm about the situation. She also assured me that she was doing her best in attempting to get the approval from insurance and even placed me on the next available appointment after approval in a few days. I'd like to thank the entire team at Downey Advanced Imaging Center. Their professionalism and kindness made a difference in our early morning diagnostic testing day. My mother had three tests today and we had to get up early but it all went well and we were done an hour later. Our experience begun the day I called to make the appointment over the phone. The operator who made our appointment was so nice and pleasant. We got our forms via email the night before and that made our check in much quicker. The three receptionists in the front were sweet, helpful and caring to everyone that walked in. (I observed many interactions while my mother was having her MRI and I give them all an A for customer service). The techs who performed my moms tests were awesome. I didn't catch everyone's names but Percy who took her x rays was kind and patient. My mom is elder and a little slow when moving and he made her and I feel comfortable.. Thank you all. read more

Beware! They are EXTREMELY BIGOTED against disabled people. They are a Medi-cal provider (mostly Medi-cal patients) & saw MULTIPLE mistreatment of disabled patients throughout the multi-hour wait for a simple procedure. But they have a hostage population given it is illegal to let Medi-cal patients get services elsewhere. Shameful how badly they discriminate. read more

No clue given on check in about waiting time so be sure to ask.Next day called about getting cd of xray for my dr. : 50 minutes on hold and still waiting. Receptionist and xray tech both very pleasant, only reason for extra star. Finally got someone on phone and wanted to talk to supervisor to complain. Told to call back she's in a meeting. Told does no good to call to burn cd ahead of time. Need to come in and wait while they burn cd. Be sure to ask to burn cd when you check in for xray. read more
