Changing it to 4 stars Went to my PCP for a possible bone fracture/sprain. I was told to go get my x-ray at this location. I left my doctors office around 3 pm or so. I tried calling this location to see if they can still take me in but no one ever picked up. Yelp says they close at 5 pm so I went anyway. Turns out, they stop taking in patients after 3pm, which I thought was a little weird because i've had my x-ray taken later than that before at other imaging centers. Anyway, I wasted my time going here and now I gotta take some time off work again just to get my x rays done on a different day.

She was one of the nicest front desk person we've met so far and everything went smoothly. The machines here are the newer ones so you don't have to remove your clothing or shoes to get an MRI. Nobody is asking the front desk staff to be warm and fuzzy, but basic politeness and professionalism should be the bare minimum. My mother had an appointment, and I walked up to the front desk to sign her in. This woman completely ignored me. I stood there waiting, not knowing whether I was supposed to sign something, sit down, or continue standing there. Finally, I had to ask, "Am I just supposed to stand here?" Her response was simply, "Yes." Seriously? What kind of customer service is that? You work at the front desk. You do not own the office, and you are not doing patients or their families a favor by acknowledging them. There is absolutely no reason to treat people as though they are beneath you or an inconvenience. She needs to be removed from the front desk and retrained on how to interact with patients and their families. If you dislike dealing with people that much, perhaps a front-facing position in a medical office is not the right job for you. And unfortunately, the older woman sitting next to her wasn't much better. What is going on with the front desk at this place? The technicians in the back, on the other hand, were very nice and professional. It's unfortunate that the people patients encounter first leave such an awful impression of the entire office. I am claustrophobic so I called Radnet to find an Open MRI near me. This facility had the soonest…read moreappointment, so I opted for this Huntington Park location. Going on a Sunday morning was the best choice since the traffic was much lighter. The check in was good and easy. I needed two MRIs of the hip and the knee. The tech explained how long each MRI was going to take which was a half hour for each. When I booked the appointment through Radnet, the rep said it would be 15-20 minutes per MRI. (Please advise your reps of the correct length for each procedure.) The tech started with my hip. The camera board under me was very uncomfortable which I didn't know about. After I was done, the tech asked me if I was ready to proceed with the knee. I said "yes," but my back was hurting. He put a wedge under my other knee to help the pain, but it did not help. Then he mentioned that he could take the camera pad out from under me. This helped immensely, and then we proceeded for another half hour. I'm glad it's over with, but I would have appreciated more explanation about the camera board. Also, the booking rep should give the exact length of time for each MRI.

I have had several ultrasound procedures at WAVE Imaging, including one of them on August 14, 2026, as well as additional procedures a few months earlier. On each occasion, Jody and Rachael were absolutely wonderful. Both of them were very professional, courteous, patient, and reassuring throughout the procedures. Having an ultrasound procedure can sometimes make a patient feel nervous or uncomfortable, but their positive attitudes and calm, friendly personalities made me feel much more relaxed. What impressed me most was the way they handled themselves with patients who may be nervous or uncertain about the procedure. They took the time to make me feel comfortable and treated me with genuine kindness and respect. Their professionalism never changed throughout my visits, and it was obvious that they truly care about the patients they serve. Jody and Rachael are excellent representatives of WAVE Imaging and are a tremendous asset to your organization. Their combination of technical professionalism, compassion, and a positive attitude is exactly what patients need when they walk through the door. I love that their gowns are actually soft cloth. I know one year they switched to a harsher material but love that we're back to soft items. They provide results within days to my Dr and thank goodness, each experience is nice. They have the cutest little boutique inside too. I've bought beanies from them before and this year they had the cutest Christmas tree and ornaments for sale.
