Small but mighty- apparently on the first Saturday monthly- I was in route to another place when I…read morepassed by the market and thought- I'm going to stop on the way back. And I did. Tiny- there were only 10 vendors but it also wasn't the 1st Saturday- it was the Saturday before Christmas- the 18th. It reminded me of another market across town that was also normally small and promised over 30 vendors- but I wasn't going to make it the 30 minute drive out that way. So- I got out and was surprised! I loved quite a few vendors! They had 3 vendors selling candles- 1 had other goods, soaps, teas and such. There was a lady who was selling hand churned, flavored butters- whaaatttt??? Yes please. Another lady who was up-cycling various items and making them into fabulous artistic pieces- including tons of wind chimes. I am a sucker for wind chimes, but I need them to have a pretty sound along with looking nice. She had a silver tea pot with spoons hanging for the chimes, adorned with glass beads that I grabbed- it was simply lovely. I also found a tent with crystals, jewelry, sage bundles and more- well.... hello- a few crystals later I left with a bag. Hmmm- there was something else. I bought from 4 of the ten vendors- but I can't remember what the last item was. Memory slipping. But- I was happily delighted in the variety of items and quality of crafts and goods. I hope they have more vendors on their regular dates and I am going to follow them on facebook. https://www.facebook.com/parkstmarketjax/ They have a vendor application on the page if you are interested. Happy shopping!

There are usually folks that don't put their shopping carts back. You're doing the store and yourself a favor if you grab it to either return and pocket that quarter or just use the cart and pass along the good deed if you will. ALDIs have certain type of marinated meats, Jalapeno poppers, and just some random items the other local supermarkets don't carry. I also noticed this location has a ton of name brand stuff. Oreo, Takis, Pringles just to name a few. I shop at Walmart weekly and various items are cheaper at ALDIs. Although that's not always the case. ALDIs doesn't carry all the ingredients I need so the visits here are typically one offs. Checkout can get a little backed up depending on the time of day. Bring your own bags unless you plan on carrying everything, or buying some.

Not only can you get some items that you didn't even know you need, it's a great place to grab useful and thoughtful gifts for others.... My go-to items that I shop at Aldi for on a regular are Clancy's White Cheddar Cheese Popcorn (so delicious!), their salmon (and if you can find their cedar plank salmon - get that!), heavy whipping cream, butter, milk, cheeses, ice cream tubs, and everything dairy, canned Skip Jack Tuna in water for my Kitty, their red bag chicken, orange juice with mango, two and three wick candles, and so much more! I'm a huge Aldi Fan and appreciate their selection and prices. Just remember to bring your big Aldi bag and a quarter. And if you forget your quarter, the cashier or another customer is always willing to lend you one. Love this place!
