Plenty of womens and kids clothing spanning the store when you first walk in, and the rest in the store to the right. Electronics, CDs, books, dress patterns, furniture, decorations, and whatever else comes in. I was so disappointed; I had visited treasure House a few years ago and picked up a record or two; I visited today, and they have no more records. They have cassettes and VCR tapes, but no records??? Wide selection of books, though, far more than TVs and computer equipment. I didn't look at the clothing, I was there for the records . . . Worth a stop in if you're looking for a dress, a book, a picture, or just to get out of the rain.

Yet, what I found at the Lyons Den was anything but what the stereotype of a town darkened by past events. The Lyons Den was a friendly, welcoming haven for gamers, geeks, nerds of all walks of life. The store was well stocked with product and I'd arrived on a 'Free Comic Book Day' event where a lot of the stores regulars dressed up as their favorite iconic super hero or villain. There were smiles and laughter from everyone around and I was welcomed. They had guest artists in attendance for the event signing autographs and doing one of a kind art upon request. Later they had an intense and well attended Magic The Gathering tournament and are even listed on the national rolls. They make ample use of the space in the store with product from floor to ceiling and covering a wide arrange of mainstream and independent comics as well as games, cups, shirts, banks, hoodies, hats and almost anything you can think of. They're linked to several distributors so if there is an item you've been looking for, then they can order it for you. The Lyons Den seemed like an awesome place to chill and have a good time for anyone and everyone. Its made me happy to know there is a small island in the midst of the area's history and to know that everyone is welcome. The visit here was due to looking for a potential out of print item and sometimes smaller game stores tucked away in small towns can hide surprising treasure for a gamer like myself. This trip was well worth it for the experience alone.

Like most antique malls, what used things that they sell in today's market gotta be much more pricier than what it's actually worth. With that being said, at Lumberton Antique Mall, they have a wide selection of vintage glass, however, the prices aren't reasonable. I managed to locate a pink Fenton Hobnail Shoe candy dish. Something I hadn't seen before, although, with closer look a noticed a huge crack, and you would think the price would match the imperfections. Nope, the booth dealer was still selling the piece for $24.95. *Eye Roll* I managed to find only one booth that had reasonable items and lucky me, I found a pink Fenton Carnival glass compote in pristine condition and plus on top of that it still had the Fenton sticker on it. I went through the whole store, it taking me an hour and half to search for the piece I was looking for only not to find it. To my surprise, I got tired of viewing so I went to check out then the biggest whammy of it all, really this takes the cake. One of the lady staff member "jokes" with me about how she should check my purse to ensure I didn't steal anything. Hmm, that's not something that you should even mention to a minority. I also loved seeing a range of prices as well. There are some more rare & expensive items, but there are also some nostalgia pieces for $1. They have a great selection of clothing, shoes, jackets, jewelry, purses, stuffed animals, trinkets, and other household products, although what you'll find depends on the day.
