On Friday, 1/17/25, I got locked out of my house after taking my dog for a walk. The lower lock on…read morethe front door, which we never lock and does not have a key, suddenly locked itself. I Googled locksmiths and found Lions. The locksmith called and told me he would be by in about 27 minutes. After 30 minutes he called to tell me he was delayed and would be another 20 minutes. When he arrived he put what looked like a miniature airbag in the crack of the door, inflated it, and popped the lock. It maybe took him 60 seconds. He then proceeded to tell us the cost was $533. He tried to speak to his supervisor to get the cost lowered without success. I have called this business repeatedly to try to understand WHY I was charged over $500 for 60 seconds of work, and not given the courtesy of being told an approximate prices prior to service. No one answers the phone. I will continue to call until someone answers and gives me an explanation. DO NOT use this company. I understand locksmiths are expensive, but $500+ for 60 seconds of service, after coming about an hour after my original call, is disgraceful. This company will take advantage of you. Stay away.
