Things were going smooth until we turned onto a freeway entrance and the axel of our car snapped and we were unable to move. First of all, the people of canyonville are amazing. Long story short, towing company recommended Bill's since they were the only ones near and open (it was around 6pm) We get to Bill's and they're so friendly. Quoted us an extremely affordable price and told us it'd be done by noon the next morning. Perfect! Doesn't stop there; since we are from out of town and have our cat with us, they personally drive us in one of their trucks to a near motel that accepts pets. We get in for the night, next morning we walk back to Bill's and the car is ready to go and it's 10am! All I can say is if I wanted my car to break down, this was the most ideal and smoothest situation ever and that is a huge thanks to Bill and his staff and also the people of canyonville. Pulled into Myrtle Creek looking for a shop. We pulled up in front of Tune Up Center and met Brian. Although all of his bays had cars in them, he saw that we were in need and he pulled out the equipment and tested the alternator to find it putting out no voltage. With a phone call he had the new part ordered and delivered. We walked across the street to Tommy's Burgers (a separate but equally glowing review) and had one of the best burgers we've had in recent memory. No sooner had we finished our lunch we saw our truck out front of the shop. Within an hour of stopping, we were back on the road, heading to the next destination that day. I hope you don't break down with car trouble on the road, but if you do, I do hope it's somewhere near Tune Up Center in Myrtle Creek, OR. Brian treated us fairly, did a great job and saved the day!
