He was also incredibly unprofessional from the moment I got there and was complaining about Medford the second I mentioned where I'd come from. He then took me back to look at the underside of my car repeatedly, saying things like, most people don't get to see the underside of their car. Also telling me what other shitty mechanics do that he doesn't do. Such BS. His wife showed up and when I was finally waiting to pay and leave she asked how it was. I said it wasn't professional. She seemed to relate initially and then said, everyone has a different opinion! This is funny, after his first negative comment, that's exactly what I had said to him. He however, had interrupted me several times and I stopped trying to communicate with him early on due to this. Next time, I will hold onto the skid plate until I get to the city.

Got smart, Pulled into this Les Schwab Tire Shop-Myrtle Creek, OR. Young guy said my tire has a hole which is too BIG to patch. He said "I had to buy a tire". So I did for a camaro $275.00. An hour later, I am on I-5 heading South, about 5 miles from Myrtle Creek Les Schwab Tire Center and my same tire sensor goes off. Shows low tire pressure. I return to Tire shop, not real happy. The same young guys finds my tire stem is the cause of my air leak on the same front tire. So I got HOSED, taken advantage by selling me a new tire, that I did not need. My tires are about 80% left on Goodyear Eagles. But I trusted the guy. IF wanted to be aggressive, I would have told him to take off his new tire and put my Goodyear back on. But I still had bout 6 to 7 hours of driving and it was noon. It shows that a big chain tire shop is not better than a local tire shop. In FACT from now on it will be only local tire shops that get my business. Too BAD, I have to give a one star.

Things were going smooth until we turned onto a freeway entrance and the axel of our car snapped and we were unable to move. First of all, the people of canyonville are amazing. Long story short, towing company recommended Bill's since they were the only ones near and open (it was around 6pm) We get to Bill's and they're so friendly. Quoted us an extremely affordable price and told us it'd be done by noon the next morning. Perfect! Doesn't stop there; since we are from out of town and have our cat with us, they personally drive us in one of their trucks to a near motel that accepts pets. We get in for the night, next morning we walk back to Bill's and the car is ready to go and it's 10am! All I can say is if I wanted my car to break down, this was the most ideal and smoothest situation ever and that is a huge thanks to Bill and his staff and also the people of canyonville. Traveling South, going home from Olympia, WA to San Diego, the battery light came on and the…read morevoltage gauge dropped. Oh no! Almost 1000 miles from home and I need a an alternator. Pulled into Myrtle Creek looking for a shop. We pulled up in front of Tune Up Center and met Brian. Although all of his bays had cars in them, he saw that we were in need and he pulled out the equipment and tested the alternator to find it putting out no voltage. With a phone call he had the new part ordered and delivered. We walked across the street to Tommy's Burgers (a separate but equally glowing review) and had one of the best burgers we've had in recent memory. No sooner had we finished our lunch we saw our truck out front of the shop. Within an hour of stopping, we were back on the road, heading to the next destination that day. I hope you don't break down with car trouble on the road, but if you do, I do hope it's somewhere near Tune Up Center in Myrtle Creek, OR. Brian treated us fairly, did a great job and saved the day!
