He came in with someone else's hearing test results - PA brought him right one. And the report to my doctor? It definitely wasn't about me. Was that the other lady's well as it was loaded with inaccuracies about my health even answers to questions never asked. Got a survey about how the visit with Audiologist went. Didn't have one - Dr. Raedy said it wasn't necessary. I have way too many health issues and in the 25 years I've dealt with my health, this was the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor and I've had a few doozies over those years. Find someone else. Since the original post on Healthgrades on May 28 (since deleted but reposted today), no responses, my patient portal cancelled June 1, June 4 dropped by certified letter for verbal and/or "threating" behavior, (Shouldn't it be "threatening behavior"?) Yes, I wrote pretty anger message wanting an explanation never called the office. And no, it was not considered threatening by others who have read it, got a bill notification 6/2 that I can't get to because no patient portal. Meantime, still in pain, still have issues hearing, and still disgusted with this doctor and his office! After posting this, I called my insurance company. The code used for "diagnosis" was "benign neoplasm of bone and articular cartilage unspecific". Interesting since I went in to talk about hearing issues and he looked at my nose for about 5 seconds after I told him I had had surgery last year and what for (different ENT). Only said still had some deviated septum nothing more and looked ok. Again, wonder who's getting my diagnosis? read more

I visited this office, West Michigan Ear Nose and Throat, on 6/26/2018. I was given an appt/contract for 7/31/2018 for allergy testing. I waited patiently for five weeks. When I drove from Three Rivers to Portage, I found my appointment was canceled. I was told a letter had been sent to my out of state address, but I was staying locally. I was told they tried to phone me, but my phone has no missed calls noted. I asked why I wasn't emailed or texted. I was told that they didn't do that (this on line stuff is well over twenty years old now). And here is the real kicker. I am on the doctor's health portal which includes on line messaging for patients like me and where there was no notice from his office about the cancellation. Apparently this was all before my appointment, so it was not for a sickness or emergency. Not keeping a contract due to an emergency is acceptable. Not keeping a contract because the doctor found something better to do is not. The least he could have done is have a PA or other technician substitute to do the tests. This office failed in way too many ways to treat a patient as the client he is. I will not return to this business. read more

Dr. Raedy did my nose and throat surgery a few years ago. Fantastic job. Nose and throat surgery is painful, and he was honest about that and how long my recovery would be. Totally worth it. I breathe better now, get fewer nose bleeds, etc. Very happy. He's funny and personable. Office very well managed with short wait times. Highly recommended! read more

My first visit to this office I saw the nurse practitioner, who didn't know what he was doing. He kept swiping through pages on his iPad hoping that my symptoms would pop up on his app, and when they didn't he prescribed a drug that I knew wouldn't work and scheduled me for an appointment for Doug Raedy three weeks into the future. After my three week wait, Doug Raedy sashayed in 45 minutes after I was escorted into the exam room, smacking his chewing gum and completely unapologetic about keeping me waiting a total of one hour and fifteen minutes to be seen. We started discussing my reason for being there, and instead of asking me to sit back so that he could look into my mouth, he pushed on my shoulder. This guy has absolutely no interpersonal skills and the entire practice, including the nurse practitioner Kevin Ferguson and the administrative staff is in serious need of training in interpersonal skills, time management skills and office management. An apology from Doug Raedy for making me wait and a truthful statement from Kevin Ferguson indicating that he wasn't sure about my symptoms would have gone a long way in making me feel more confident in their ability to treat me, but the hubris really turned me off. read more

Went to see him for a ruptured ear drum. I should've known right away to find someone else, but it's who my doctor referred me to. Their office is horrible about answering the phone or returning calls. Waited over a week for a return call, just to schedule the appointment. Dr. Raedy fed me a line about I needed surgery right now, then changed to a couple months, then changed to next month. Said if I waited more than two months my ear drum could disintegrate. He put on a big show to try and scare me into surgery. He almost had me, if my fiancee didn't come with me (who is a nurse at a major hospital) and if he told me it hasn't healed at all and wouldn't even entertain the idea it is healing (my hearing was slightly improving, common sense says it's healing some, and it was his first time seeing it. How did he know?). Needless to say, save yourself the wasted time and money of a second opinion or surgery. Go see someone else!!!! read more

Abrasive, arrogant, demeaning to staff and couldn't seem to be bothered to explain what he was doing. Made my daughter (18) the patient extremely uncomfortable, her exact words after a painful biopsy was if she had to hear she had cancer, it wouldn't be from him. We went elsewhere to complete the rest of our treatment. read more
