Once seated it was another 10 before the waitress acknowledged us, in a basically empty restaurant. Once ordered, the food was slow to arrive again, and we had to repeatedly ask the waitress for items she forgot and the food had a dried layer as if left under a heat light for too long. As a whole disappointed with the experience here and would rate it below average for the typical Swiss Chalet experience.

The roasted pumpkin seeds and red cabbage added nice crunch to the bowl. The steak was cooked perfect and was cut into bite sized pieces before being cooked. All seafood used was at the peak of freshness and the flavors well balanced (referring to the pasta dish). It wasn't inexpensive even after converting back to US dollars but it was worth every penny. I noticed a lot of people lingering without ordering more which I thought was rude but maybe it's a cultural thing. Surprisingly, service was quick, the wait for entrees not bad considering how busy they were (lots of big parties) and the staff's passion for what they do is palpable. One pizza that was supposed to have no onions, had onions. The pizza that was supposed to have extra cheese, had no cheese at all. The extra cheese was put on a pizza that was for someone who does not like cheese. I phoned them up and they were supposed to give me a refund, but they didn't.
