The one who I read had openings was not my first choice, so I was led to believe that another doctor, whose online bio appealed to me, would be shown the form I filled out and I'd get a response. So, I never got a response. I called in June to remind her and was told "the doctor was on vacation" blah blah blah. She promised she would show the doctor my inquiry and I'd hear back either way. This didn't happen. That conversation was on June 5th and it is now over a month later. I give up on this practice. How can you be offering "concierge" medicine which is supposed to devote extra time to patients and completely ignore a potential new patient who is willing to jump in and pay the practice MONTHLY whether being seen or not? They definitely didn't know everything, no one can, but they became arrogant and gaslight me significantly and it made medical PTSD spiral. Also, no provider in my opinion should tell a patient they can't have celiac disease going off of gluten antibody testing alone, especially when there was no gluten trial and only occasional accidental exposure. I was only concerned about cross contamination at that point, I already knew I can't eat gluten. Yet I was told I couldn't have celiac disease and I believed them at the time. I even tried to force eating gluten again because of their comments about it causing me diarrhea when I was constipated at the time, like it was a good thing helping my GI and suggesting I made myself constipated by not eating gluten containing grains. That really messed with my head for sometime. But in reality, they should have checked for celiac genes too. It runs in my immediate family.

She made it clear to me that (1) I was an idiot for not knowing the exact dosage of it and that (2) she was the only person I could talk to. On Friday evening I went to the pharmacy and was told by a woman I know well and trust that the prescription was "never phoned in". As I said, this was a Friday night, and I was running out. I called Hallie back on Monday and asked why it wasn't phoned in. She said "you didn't phone it in until Friday" I promptly corrected her, and SHE HUNG UP ON ME. I called the office supervisor, Julie and left a polite message message for her to call me back. She failed to do so THREE TIMES. There is no excuse for this behavior.. Providence was my first (and so far, only) medical group. I have gone from the St. Vincent medical home to this North Providence medical home, and I really prefer the continuity I get from the doctor I have now. At St. Vincent's I received a new intern every year. My doctor now checks in with me on all my previous health issues, facilitated by computer programming -- which I personally like, this future of electronic access to medical history and the ease of operation with various apps in your life. Otherwise I wouldn't be a yelp elite! For urgent visits I have been here as well, with one of my children. He was treated fast and professionally, and has healed well. My doctor always seems to be up on the latest developments in medicine, and I trust in this medical home. I have been fortunately blessed with my health issues, so I have nothing to complain of.
