My full physical literally only consisted of my BP being taken and a generic blood panel that didn't even come back with conditions I already knew I had. It's basically a referral center, but even the doctors they refer you to aren't accepting new patients. To top off the horrible experience this place offers, Dr. Cuneo actually wanted to withhold vital information about my health. I've never heard a doctor so adamant about not sharing health information with their own patient. I'll definitely be following up with my lawyers as I'm not even sure that's legal. DO NOT GO HERE. She took forever with my vitals, and then said it was only a 20 minute appointment, so she had to leave immediately. Okay? I didn't know the appointment time length. He not only knew his medical field and treated me with excellence, but his care for "the whole person" was remarkable and so very welcome. I NEVER felt rushed, and he always took his time to talk me through all the issues. I was not the "recipient" of medical care, I was a "participant" in my own medical care, feeling fully involved and "invested" in all the decisions pertaining to my treatment. I frequently had to wait in the waiting room to see him for a long-ish period, but I forgave that every time because I knew he was giving to someone else the same outstanding care I would always get...this man is extraordinary. I will be returning soon to live in Portland, and I am so very happy to see Dr. Beers is still practicing medicine. I'll return to his care as soon as I arrive!

He is compassionate, funny and a brilliant Physician, what more do you need? As a Teaching Physician he stays abreast of the latest treatment options, so you can trust his judgement. However, if you wish to be a partner in treatment decisions, he is willing to spend some time with you discussing the best options for YOU. Sometimes you may need to wait for him because he is taking the time each patient needs, no matter how heavily he is booked. I said yes, Dr Yeggy as she appears to have privileges at Legacy and Providence. The practice attendant quickly said "her practice is closed"". When I shared that the insurance web site lists her as accepting new patients the attendant yelled: "SHE'S NOT SEEING NEW PATIENTS!" Dr Yeggy may be wonderful, but her office staff are horrific and not worth the bother.

On Friday evening I went to the pharmacy and was told by a woman I know well and trust that the prescription was "never phoned in". As I said, this was a Friday night, and I was running out. I called Hallie back on Monday and asked why it wasn't phoned in. She said "you didn't phone it in until Friday" I promptly corrected her, and SHE HUNG UP ON ME. I called the office supervisor, Julie and left a polite message message for her to call me back. She failed to do so THREE TIMES. There is no excuse for this behavior.. They have mis-diagnosed, not been able to diagnose or denied coverage on EVERY SINGLE issue I've ever come to them with. They even missed my broken leg FOR MONTHS! Throughout that horror show they treated me like I was seeking drugs. Nope, just in agonizing pain BECAUSE MY LEG WAS BROKEN, stupid Provi-dump. I finally had to go to an outside doctor who was helping with several of my issues including pain management (NOT using big pharma by the way) and then, with less than 30 days notice, Provi-change-the-rules-mid-stream-dence, announced that they will no longer accept any outside network referrals. So, I was finally getting the help I so desperately needed, somewhere other than Provi-dump, only to be cut off by the devilish hacks. I used to think Kaiser was the worst but Provi-dunce is undeniably the most inept, corporate mentality (profit over everything else), scumbags I've ever dealt with in my life.
