Had a good experience at this shop. Went in early on a Saturday with 3 pictures and a idea. The staff provided a reasonable price quote in minutes. Dougie and the other staff (sorry I didn't get her name) listened to what I wanted and brought my idea to reality. They were patient as I contemplated what size to get. Only took cash which was not a problem since the price was reasonable. I will go back in the future for other tattoos.

I got my eyebrow pierced here the other day and it looks amazing. i really liked Dougie, he has good vibes. overall i will be coming back for sure.

I got 2 piercings done here Friday and the piercer did a great job. He was funny, professional and quick! Thank goodness cuz it hurt like hell. It's VERY clean inside. I think his dad works the cash register and just a sweet old man. I would def recommend coming here for your tattoos and piercings. Oh! And they were very welcoming about me bringing my 3 year old with me while I got my nose and belly piercings. Don't judge me! I called beforehand and asked would it be ok to bring her. So an extra star for that because I did feel a little weird about bringing her but oh well!

Dougie's is amazing. I called and ask if I could come in for the removal of a hoop nose ring that I just couldn't get out on my own. I had been trying to remove it for days and it was starting to hurt. Dougie said that I could come in anytime that day. He took me back as soon as I walked in and used a tool to remove the piercing. It took less than 5 mins and he didn't even charge me! I would definitely recommend him for any body piercing or piercing care. read more

I got both my tattoos here so where would my sister go but here. They do a really great job and give great feedback. It is clean and always playing some nice tunes in the background. Customer service always on point...helps with the design and works to make sure you get what you want. For 1st timers...very nice and reassuring. They take your design choices or you can pick one of many of theirs (books, on the wall choices). You can make an appointment (a great idea) but they do take walk-ins. On some days it can be really, really crowded. They give you information on how to take care of the tattoo once you get home along with an ointment. read more

This guy is the real deal! He's so nice and efficient! I called because I was interested in getting my tragus pierced along with a forward helix. He said I didn't need an appt. that I could just walk in. I was shocked at the number of people that were in there at like 615pm or so. I filled out my paperwork, paid him and he told me it would be about 10 minutes because he had something quick to do then he would get to me. There were people in front of me but I think the other clients were getting ink done and he knew my piercings wouldn't take long at all and they didn't. He did an awesome job, I love the jewelry, his prices are very reasonable, especially for this area. The shop was clean... I was just overall super impressed with him. I'll definitely be going back to him to get 2 more forward helixes, I eventually want 3 total. And when I decide to get my next tattoo I'll definitely be going back to him. read more

I ended up finding Bernadette, an independent nail tech who works there--and she's been an absolute gem. While she does use a drill (contrary to what I originally searched for), she's incredibly skilled, gentle, and precise--so much so that it never damages my nails. Her technique is both efficient and mindful, striking the perfect balance between machine and hand filing. Initially, I was getting regular gel manicures, but Bernadette truly cares about nail health, and she suggested switching to builder gel (BIAB). It was a game-changer. Builder gel doesn't require soaking off and allows for continuous fills--meaning you can build on top of your last set without compromising nail integrity. Since switching, my nails have grown so long, strong, and healthy, and a single BIAB manicure can last me up to 6 weeks! Beyond nails, Bernadette is a wonderful person--easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and deeply caring. She also specializes in pedicures for clients with diabetes or other health conditions, which speaks volumes about her expertise and sensitivity to clients' unique needs. If you're looking for a thoughtful, health-conscious nail experience, I highly recommend Refresh Nail Spa and Bernadette in particular. My monthly visits have become something I genuinely look forward to.
