One can gain many observations between donuts and other facets of daily life:
1. On a regular day in nice weather the line for this place is extensively long- But, this can be a good thing. Namely if you want to practice your "waiting in line to vote experience" for inordinate amounts of time to your life repertoire. It's almost the same time frame as waiting to vote 20-40 minutes depending on popularity.
2. Good doughnut dough (Yes a repetition) should be that of good pizza dough; light, fluffy, airy, bouncy, with the ability to hold it's texture and bite without being too stodgy or dense.
3. There's a reason Homer Simpson likes them so much- Because of all the D'oh! (Yes roll your eyes in disbelief as I just made a horribly bad dad joke. I think I have a compendium dad joke book coming out soon)
4. It's popular, it's trendy, so people will flock. (Aka the herd or sheep mentality) Which has it's base in evolutionary psychology, as part of the tribal collective.)
An who, down to the review. On my Visit, I had a Smores donut, Yarrrm! I also received a free kit-kat donut on the day. A bribe, a marketing tactic, or even if it was just extra stock, it was awesome to receive on a cold shitty rainy day. That kind of rain that gently falls for hours in mist like fashion, yet soaks everything in it's path. That being said, there is incentive to return, not only to try some of the other flavours and range. Oh and they give you a great little box kinda like mobile donut protection home for take away, you don't have smoshed donut unceremoniously covering the contents of your bag. read more
