The sandwich was $13, but after adding the freebies and making it vegan, the total was $15 without a drink and chips. The cashier came to the table to give me my order apologizing for the long wait, heated restaurant, and asked if I wanted a sub with cold marina. I did not understand what he meant as I thought marina sauce was cold. He said that my order was made wrong, but corrected. I opted for the non cold marina sandwich. Once I got back to the house, I ate the sandwich and it was pretty mid. It was tasty with the melted veg cheese onto the soft and slightly sweet bread, but there was only two meatless balls in the whole sub. The website showed that it would be at 4, but nope I didn't even get that. Then the meatless balls was okay, but I didn't taste the flavor that I was hoping for. I hoped that the meatless balls would be as flavorful as Aldi's Italian meatless balls. They are so good. I'm actually wondering why that sandwich was considered "award winning". That wasn't the best meatless sub that I've had. I was really hoping for something better at Ike's Love.

She was happy to see that her portion had lots of sausage chunks in the gravy. The location is limited in size, but they make up for it with ambiance, service and value. We spent a little time browsing the shop before going to the cafe. The cafe itself is so welcoming and spacious! Not a great ton of seating available but there's outdoor seating area with turf, which I can see is a huge plus when cooler weather arrives. I love the signs on the wall, very motivating sayings and quotes. For food, I had the avocado toast with bacon and fried egg and an espresso. It was delicious! Price point was good and food came out hot and fresh. I noticed when we were there, the lady at the counter (presumably the manager) was addressing the patrons by name, which was such a nice touch to see. It feels like this place really cares for their customers and is an established place in the local community. Parking is free and ample spaces available when we went there on a Friday morning. The shop is decorated with photos and memories of the local high school teams. It's always good to see support for local small shops, and what they provide to the local community.
