They do not serve hotdogs I repeat - they do not serve hot dogs!…read more They serve much more than that. I came here for an event and was surprised at how good and fresh the food was. The staff was so attentive and knowledgeable on all the foods. It's American food, but they do a lot of fusion, so there was something for everyone. My favorite of the night was the loco moco fried rice and the lemon cheesecake! The cheesecake was zesty and not overly sweet, which I appreciated because it let me taste all the distinct flavors going on. The curry chicken salad with chickpeas I know my husband would've loved, I ate it for him lol. I don't know what it was but the bottom of it had a dressing that made it very delectable. I was on the outside on the patio that had a large fireplace and it was so cozy, I can imagine it being very inviting during winter time. Even though I drove from Cypress to Richmond, it was worth the drive. The general manager was super friendly and I learned they have a Cypress location so you know where I'll be going!

This was a very disappointing experience tonight, which is interesting because last time I came…read morehere it was amazing and over the top quality. First, tonight my family and I came into the restaurant and were not greeted by any hostess or employee for about 7-10 minutes. We understood though because everyone seemed to be in a rush since it was busy. We patiently waited then we were finally seated. Our server took our drink orders first as usual, got us our drinks then walked away. We waited a good while for her to come back since we were wanting to order an appetizer, and that took forever. Once we finally were able to place our appetizer order, it took another 10 minutes for it to come out. Again, we tried our best to be nice since it was busy. Now to the meals.. we put in our order for our dishes and proceeded to wait about 30-35 minutes. There is only 3 of us! Once everyone got their meals we realized it just.. wasn't the best. - My mother ordered a customized pick 3 meal, her roasted chicken sandwich didn't have any roasted chicken, she said it was all lunch meat? And her bread was as hard as a rock. The "truffle fries" that she had to pay extra for didn't have any truffle, when asked about it.. we were informed it was just truffle "oil". What. Lastly, she didn't even receive her soup. They forgot about it. We had to remind them about the forgotten soup for my mother to finally receive it. She said it was not even good. - My mediterranean chicken bowl was..okay, but I did notice that last time I was here I had a good amount of chicken. This time.. I had barely any chicken. We received 0 REFILLS on our drinks, so by the time we ordered dessert we couldn't even finish it since we were so thirsty and the chocolate was so rich. In the end, the rush died down so much where once we sat up to go we were wondering why service was still awful when no one was in the restaurant. The manager did come to apologize, both our server and manager were very nice. They decided to take off the sandwich from our bill and remake the sandwich and soup to go. Once we got home, my mother realized the soup in our to go package was actually the correct soup, and that at the restaurant she has no idea what soup they brought her. Overall, this experience tonight has been awful. We went home thirsty and hungry.

Do yourself a favor and ask for Alexandira to be your waitress…read more I mean wow, I was shocked at not only how good the food was, but the service as well. Alexandria was prompt, attentive, and explained special dishes to us first-timers perfectly while also allowing us to enjoy our food and not feel rushed. My fiance and I both worked in the service industry once upon a time. We will definitely be back, for the food yes, but mostly because of how incredible Alexandria was. From the jump, the hostess greeted and seated us quickly, and our server was absolutely fantastic--attentive, friendly, and on point the entire time. We started with Hibiscus Margaritas, quickly upgraded to a pitcher (zero regrets), and jumped into appetizers. The roasted red pepper hummus with parmesan crisps surprised me in the best way--really good. The Brussels sprouts and lettuce wraps were the clear standouts, an easy 10/10 and the main reason I'll be back. Some other apps were hit-or-miss for my taste, but that happens. The vibe was relaxed and clean, with a nice buzz once the Friday after-work crowd rolled in. The manager checked on us multiple times, gifted us their house-made potato chips (Chef's Snacks--crispy and addictive), and even gave us appetizer coupons after hearing we work at a school and were scouting a spot for a happy hour social. That kind of genuine hospitality goes a long way. Solid drinks, strong food highlights, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Lazy Dog definitely earned a return visit.

(Combo meal). They told me it was going to take a few mins so after I paid, I told them I'll go park and come inside. There were people behind me and I didn't want to hold people up. After parking and going inside. I didn't have my cup to get a drink yet so I was waiting at the front just... kind of watching the staff. I think two of the three, including the one who was at the window and took my order, must of been on break because they literally did not do much but stare back at me and the food/drink they were eating/drinking. The manger was running back and forth. After he gave me my bag, it was just the biscuit sandwich. So I asked "where was the side? " . He passed me the side, then I asked" where do I get a cup for drinks?" The manager didn't realize I never had the cup because he thought the staff member at the window gave me my cup. In the bag, there was no napkin or spoon for the side. Or maybe I just didn't see them next to the soda machine because I was getting annoyed at this point and just wanted to leave. As for the food, barely any icing. The chicken was mid. The meat has a reddish tint to it like it's supposed to be a spicy chicken ? It was confusing to look at. The biscuit was slightly sweet and crusty along the edges (the best part of this whole thing). Mac and cheese was mid. The whole combo was overall mid. Admittedly, tables and chairs are clean. Lots of space. They have an outdoor area too. They have a small window in the kitchen area where you can watch them make the dough. Free parking out front. I would take out the ai in the drive through. I did not like it at all. If I have to wait for a bit, it would be good if they have a spot I can go to while they take care of the customers behind me and I'm not holding up the line for 5 minutes.

Here's what we tried: Queso & Chips: Super creamy and flavorful. The chips were fresh and had the perfect crunch. Great way to get it poppin'! I orderd the BBQ Beef Hash: It was on point! Smoky, filling, and satisfying. The beef was tender, and the potatoes had a nice crisp. Topped with perfectly cooked scrambled eggs--comfort food done right. Michelle had the Cheeseburger: She commented that it was tasty and juicy. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. The bun was soft and buttery, and the cheese melted just right. Couldn't leave without trying the So' O's (Southern Fried Oreos: Absolutely indulgent! Crispy outside, gooey inside, and dusted with powdered sugar. A fun and nostalgic dessert that's worth throwing all of l the calories away for. The vibe is upbeat and Southern-chic, with quirky decor and a lively crowd of all ages and backgrounds. Water was dripping on us from the AC vents due to moisture buildup, which made the environment uncomfortable and unsanitary. The food was equally terrible. The crab cake had a strong fishy odor/taste and appeared undercooked - we had to send it back. The table next to us also sent the crab cake back so that's how you know it was bad. My mom and sister both ordered the State Fare Breakfast, and their meals were no better. The hash browns were raw, and the biscuit was so hard like a rock. Even after they brought replacements, the food was still poorly prepared and barely edible. I've never gone somewhere that has messed up hash browns! My dad and I ordered the birria grilled cheese, and that also did not taste good. This restaurant prioritized massive quantities of food over quality. The large size of foods led the food to not be cooked adequately. This was one of the worst dining experiences I've had. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Don't be misled by the positive reviews like I was.
