We heard great things about Circle H but what a disappointment! We purchased 2 top sirloin steaks (…read moretotal two pounds ) and they were very tough and had little taste. We ate less than half and threw the remainder away. We also bought some fajita beef so we're hoping it's better or at least good enough to eat all of it. We won't be returning.

I spend almost couple hundred dollars each time I go and this last time I bought a seasoning and when I got home to use it, it was unsealed and the seasoning was pretty hard so I assumed that maybe some moisture got into it. I went back to go see if I can exchange it for a new one and the blonde lady that was working there, not sure if she's the owner or whatever but stared at me as if I was just talking out of my ass, then walked over to the seasonings just to then talk to me like I was stupid and acted like I didn't know what i was talking about or I was lying about it being opened and then tried to convince me that all of the seasonings Are like that. She also said that the lid most likely tore the seal off itself, which that has never happened to me before but either way, the seasoning was hard, and there was no telling how long it had been open on the shelf. Some of them did stick closer to the top, but once you shook it, it all easily broke apart, the one I have is almost completely solid from top to bottom. EITHER WAY, I would've loved a seasoning that was completely sealed when I open it. Instead of just exchanging the $12 seasoning after spending almost $200 there just a couple days before, she gave me a really hard time about it and was super rude and basically told me none of the other seasonings were any better like a "too bad, so sad" attitude. I just said OK and she just walked right back to the front without saying another word to me. Her facial expressions and the way she quickly dismissed me was just so uninviting and disrespectful and me and my toddler just walked out. We won't be going back there. I'll find a new place to get our meat.

Brookshire's tonic water was listed at $1.39, but I was charged $2.19, which is a 58% increase. Neither item appeared not to be on sale. When I brought this to the attention of the assistant manager, I was informed that the higher price was due to not having a rewards card. This is contrary to what I was told approximately two years ago, which was that, "The Thank You Card Program was being discontinued at the end of the year." It is very dishonest for a store to serve customers and commuters in this small community neighbor to a church so unorthodox, especially when vulnerable people like seniors and the elderly are involved. Their actions are not only a privacy invasion but also highly deceptive and discriminating .

I wasn't feeling well; I was dizzy and worried about bending over to put the sacks in my car. I told her that and she was very nice and helpful about it. Most of the aisles were cluttered and full. It was hard to get through the aisles to find my groceries because the stockers were taking up so much space. They didn't offer to move. It was frustrating and difficult to get through the aisles. The sidewalk by the entrance to the store was filled with foul smelling cigarette smoke. You could smell it all the way inside the door. It has been that way every time I have come for the past two months. I've come on different days of the week and at different times. I asked the manager today about the situation with the man smoking on the bench in front of their door. He is there every day. It smells awful. She was emphatic that Brookshire's does not care if the smoke is offensive to their customers. She said she doesn't care if they lose customers because of it. She said that there is nothing that she will do about it. I said I may go somewhere else to shop and she said OK. No apologies or offers to help with the situation. She was condescending and seemed to enjoy telling me that she would do nothing to make the situation better. I've shopped here for 40 years and I'm really sad about shopping somewhere else but it was really a bad experience except for my sacker and checker. I don't know the manager's name. She did not tell me and did not have a name tag. She has heart shaped glasses. I hope someone at Brookshire's looks into this because it used to be a nice place to shop.

I don't know what I am doing with game processing, as the business associate clearly pointed out to me over the phone. I left a deer for processing and was given a form that quoted me $85 for the meat. My family member picked up my deer after being notified that it was ready. Upon pickup, my family member was told that the total charge was $153, nearly twice as much. On the form I was given, no other fees or prices were written or highlighted. Again, the only price noted was $85. I immediately called to inquire, and was told that the additional fees included processing for other types of meat like sausage. I had NO issue paying the additional amount, to which I stated that I understood that the higher price was the true and accurate price. I attempted to explain that this should be conveyed to future customers upon drop-off so they aren't caught off guard upon pickup, but was cut off and told that "any person who has processed deer should know that it costs more than $85." Once again, I am NOT familiar with the process, which is why I relied on Cox Processing for this service. I was in no way attempting to scam or haggle a price down. Again, I had no issue paying the true cost of $153. However, as someone with two business degrees, I was simply trying to offer a piece of advice so future customers wouldn't be caught off guard like I was today. I want to highlight that the product I received is good quality. I've had more than one deer processed at this facility. Going forward though, I will not be returning to Cox Processing given the severe lack of customer service and communication skills.
