Basic stuff, reseat a toilet, replace a kitchen faucet, and snake out the kitchen sink drain. That plumber left telling us we should get someone who specializes in drain snaking. He did not tell us we shouldn't use our facilities. By Saturday, we had sewage backing up into our bathroom. Why does this always happen on a weekend? As you can imagine we freaked out. We called several drain specialists but no one was answering on a Saturday morning except Eric from the Drain Doctor. He listened to our freak out with patience and kindness. Although his camera was broken, he rented one saying he'd be here within an 1 1/2 hours. He was at our home in less time. He spent at least 6 hours trying to clear our drains without success. He tried so hard to help us. He called his contacts to give him advice, he even went out to our long abandoned detached studio, removed that toilet that hadn't been used in decades to try to snake from a different direction. He surmised that with the age of our home built in 1888 we likely had a collapsed sewer main, which no simple snake is going to break through. For all that effort he charged at least half of what someone else would have charged. We know, we've had lots of Saturday service with this old house. And he referred us to someone who he thought could take on a job this big. We aren't out of the woods yet, but if we ever have drain issues again, Eric is the first one we'll call. Thanks Eric!

Today we had a sewer line backing up to both a bathroom and kitchen, all manner of yucky smelly stuff - just as family visitors were to arrive for the Christmas holiday. Even though booked up for the day, they reached out and found a pro to send to us immediately. Correctly diagnosed where the blockage was and had it resolved in less than an hour. Technician showed up promptly at scheduled time, conducted a very thorough inspection of the AC components. He was not able to identify a specific issue, however the capacitor was a bit out of spec, so had him replace it since the unit was already disassembled. The issues I have with the service is 1. No report of the tests done and findings during or after service other than verbally.2. We were charged $240 to install the $30 part and the unit was already tore down from the inspection.

Now in July, our sewer backed up. I called them but they didn't answer the phone. I hired someone else to run the sewer, and hired out the cleanup as well. So that was $825 and a big hassle. Upon arrival, I mentioned that I had changed the water filter, per recommendation of another company's receptionist, and it was not acting up so much. He looked in our utility closet, went to his truck for a bit for different tools. Seemed to be out there for some time, then came back and told me after himming and hahhhing at it, that the preasure switch and pressure tank needed to be replaced. He said that was typical for these things to go bad. $20 for pressure switch $550 for pressure tank. He left and went to get tank. In the mean time I did some price checking and calling around. I told him not to come back, as I was checking around. I decided to go with another company, who came out to replace both items, only to tell me, my pressure tank was fine, specifically not water logged and that they added air to it..I gladly thanked them for saving me over $500. Around 4pm, A1 shows back up with a $90 bill claiming "his truck doesn't run for free." And when I asked him what I was paying for he said, "my opinion." (Which was that the tank was water logged) I then informed him, that his opinion was wrong according to the two gentlemen from the other company. He demanded I pay him. He is dishonest. 3 weeks later, my water is running fine.

My husband and I recently bought a piece of land to build our dream home on so we called these guys first to drill us a well. After taking 2 months longer to get started on our well than they told us it would be. then they failed twice to be able to drill a stable hole for our well (2 collapsed). It turns out we have a very difficult piece of land, so I do not blame them for not being able to get the well. I am unhappy with the way they handled it. They pulled their rig off our lot and said they would talk to another company with more advanced equipment to see if they could help, and then they would get back to us. They never did. After at least a week of stressful waiting and un-returned calls from our contractor, I contacted them directly. They told me they had been meaning to call us back. They had " declined to try again" and told us that "this happens sometimes." I asked about his colleague with better equipment, and I was told "he won't touch it, I don't think anyone will touch it." His lack of concern and helpfulness with my predicament is what let me to place this review. a We had already sold our current home in anticipation of building and so I was devastated. he gave me a a name of another company that might have better equipment but said he didn't know them. Then we hung up. We called this other they assured us they could do it. The owner told us "Don't worry, we will make it look easy". I was so reassured. They were at our lot in less than a week from our first contact with them and were there every day, driving back and forth from Butte in the first blizzard and below zero snap of the season. They cased our well with steel down to 540 feet so that it would be stable. Now we have an awesome well and can go forward building our dream house. Because of my above story, I will no longer recommend that people use A10 drilling. They did not have the equipment, dedication, or personal caring that I would want in a company.
