I was still charged the next month after that and took it up with my credit card company to block their charges. They tried collecting payment and it was back and forth for a month. I was told the collections company couldn't do anything and to call the gym. The gym said to figure it out with collections. Finally in December, they stopped contacting me and I figured they figured everything out because I WASN'T A MEMBER ANYMORE. Randomly in February I was charged for a membership fee under the new company's name. Like I'm floored, they should NEVER have still had access to my credit card and not more than a few days later I had fraudulent charges for dating websites on my card. I don't know who has my information or where it's stored, but I have no doubt the fraud activity is because of them. Chase has been great and I have a new credit card they can't charge and I've been refunded for all the charges, but what they are doing is criminal. I spoke to someone a few days ago from the club and he promised I would hear from a manger, but I haven't gotten any phone call and I'm still getting pursued by ASF payment solutions for back payments on membership I don't have. I've never been so digusted with a company in my life. Simply despicable. Update! I finally heard back from the gym and the manger was very apologetic about everything. It doesn't make it right, but I do appreciate his professionalism and hopefully, hopefully everything has now been resolved!

How do I know? Well, if you're unlucky and have to make a couple phone calls, the staff there doesn't know if they're Inspire or Aspire yet. The admin is all Aspire, the floor staff and the stuff on the walls is Inspire. Also, just another sketchy business red flag, when you ask to speak to a manager or supervisor and are told you have to come in to the place. They won't even give you the manager's name. Most businesses have manager business cards available all over the place, and the manager is a highly visible presence. Here, it's a figure who lurks in shadows like a villain created when mutagen ooze spilled into a GNC. My complaint is that this place is a huge scam. Here's how billing works at a legit gym: You pay, and you go in. If you stop paying, they don't let you in anymore. Here's how billing works at Aspire/Inspire: You pay, then you stop going and stop paying, at which point they continue billing you and report you to a collections agency. Then you have to go in person to cancel, which takes forever because everyone who works the desk there has been there for 2 weeks and doesn't know how anything works. This place seems like a great deal, but that's before they send you to collections for $20 of gym service that you never received.

My two younger have trained in BJJ with several instructors and have broadened their skills in ways I never saw coming in such a short amount of time. My 13 yo and I enjoy the gym set up. The classes are structured but instructors are immensely divoted to training a diverse range of skill levels. There are NO pressure sales here. If you want to be there they want you there.
