I thought the staff was knowledgeable and eager to offer recommendations. I definitely think it's worth your time to take a look at the Smokestack. Some other items offer are Smokers,Grills, pallets for and some cooking utensils. I would have rated slightly higher but my go to seasoning is slightly higher at Smokestack but of course I'd rather buy local.

Would prob be a great place to buy a present for a bbq guy. Employees were super friendly and knew what they were talking about. Alan, the store manager, made me really want to upgrade my smoker but I escaped with just some good advice, oak chunks and a couple of rubs! Still thinking about the smoker, tho...

It's pretty reliable to fall back on too when you need groceries or last minute items, but that being said it won't have everything if you like select brands you most likely will have to go to brainerd for that. The deli area we always like to order togo made salads or something from the hot bar if we want to make an easy dinner for that night. The workers behind the counter will either greet you and be nice and that tends to be rare. They never seem to be happy or in the mood to even smile. Sometimes they might just ignore you till you practically have to wave them down but its a 50/50 shot who you'll get same with the cashiers, you might get a pre-teen boy who doesn't even know how to speak one word like your total, its a little bizarre. If your a cashier maybe at least know how to ask if you'd like a receipt. thankyou

This food truck was at our local brewery this weekend and I am in high hopes they invite them back…read moremultiple times this summer because I will certainly eat this pizza again. We ordered the Lumberjack and the Open Range. I have eaten a lot of pizza from many pizza joints and honestly the Lumberjack has one of the most delicious flavors I have ever tasted in terms of pizza. And the Open Range was also very pleasant. They were both very flavorful. And the crust was perfect. Sometimes with the wood fire pizza you get the outside crust crispy and the center crust soggy and that was not the case today. These pizzas were cooked perfectly. The pizzas are more of a personal pizza or a snack pizza. We got two for 2 adults and to small children and it was a perfect light lunch for our family. Our wait was times 30-40 minutes which I didn't think was bad for a fresh pizza and the brewery was busy. People were grabbing pizzas what seemed like every five minutes, so the pizza truck was definitely busy as well. Everyone here was grabbing pizzas. I am excited to try more of their menu options! Can't wait for them to be back!
