As is typical of this store, I began my search for this item and although I searched for it in a logical location could not find it or any similar product. As is also typical of this store, I had to go in search of customer service personnel to help me locate it. I located a surly individual in the fish tank area (large man with dark hair). He conveyed to me in no uncertain terms that he had no desire to help me (body language, tone of voice, words he spoke to me). He ultimately lead me to a location where the item I was looking for could possibly be. It was not there and this individual had no interest/desire in investigating why it was not there or where it might be located elsewhere in the store. I found nothing on the shelf he directed me to that would suffice for "paw balm". Just once, it would be nice to "shop" at this Petco and be able to purchase what one needs the same day (instead of always having to purchase what you need on Amazon and then wait for it to get shipped to you). This phenomenon is not the exception at this Petco, it is the rule. This same scenario has happened to me as a customer many, many, many times. 1. Items are supposed to be in stock at this store. 2. The item one is looking for is impossible to locate or does not exist in the convoluted mess of the store. 3. "Customer Service" personnel are impossible to locate and/or are surly and make no effort at giving one customer service. I am sooooo done with the Klamath Falls, Oregon Petco. IT JUST ISN'T WORTH THE EFFORT.

While shopping our puppy was in the trailer, when we came back there was blood everywhere. Turns out military jets were flying low over the trailer and spooked the puppy. He must have caught one of his nails on something and pretty well pulled it out. There we were in a strange town, towing a large travel trailer with a blood soaked, scared puppy. I did a search and found The Pet Medical Center just a couple of blocks away. I phoned and explained the situation. They told me to bring him right over and I could put the trailer in the parking lot. We carried him into the office, they were waiting for us and met us at the door. He was on the table in 30 seconds and getting treatment right away. I was worried about blocking their parking lot and was invited to put my trailer in an open field behind the office. We told Letty (at the front desk) that we were going to go into the trailer and make some lunch since we'd been on the road all morning. She volunteered to drive us to a local restaurant and pick us up when we finished eating. During lunch she called to say Ace was ready to go and doing fine. To top off the story we have pet medical insurance and they allowed me to use their computer and printer to print out a claim form, filled it out and faxed it in for me!! Don't delay - this is the place to go in the Basin.

They will create an unbreakable bond between you and your pup based on positive reinforcement. There is just no comparison anywhere else. Stay completely away from trainers who use any sort of choke chains. They say they use positive reinforcement and then want to slap a pinch/prong or choke collar on your dog. That is not appropriate in any way for dogs who only want to love and please you. That is negative fear based cruel and abusive training. Only go with the best! Go Rogue!

We need to teach our dogs for weeks how to sniff butts? My dogs can sniff my butt and I didn't even have to train them! Grrrrrrr! I recently adopted an eight week old puppy and searched for a new school. After phone chat with Kate at Go Rogue I decided to place puppy, Siren in their school. Wowzer! We learned more in the very first class than I learned with my other rescue pup in sixteen weeks at Good Dog school. It is awesome! The puppies have several play groups to socialize and just have fun....think of a puppy mosh pit! There are so many fun and challenging obstacles set up all over the room for puppies to explore, feel various textures, get a puppy view of agility....which all of my dogs participate in as they get old enough. The approach is always positive, there are two instructors who offer wonderful assistance if a puppy or their human are having any difficulties. They "include" a wonderful handbook to fully explain things we might forget in class. Always there is homework and each class is followed up with an email reminding us what to work on before next session. Kate and Carrie offer high value treats....they don't charge for these (unlike the other school) if the puppy needs a little motivation. I could write a novel on how fabulous this school is. My puppy, Siren just graduated today from her Puppy 1 six week session. ( forgot to say, this school charges $165 for six weeks, Good Dog charged $217 for eight weeks of sniffing butts and click for calm and if you want a hand book fork over an additional $25 bucks. If you run out of treats during class....get your money out! Ain't nothing free at Good Dog school.) And for the puppies graduation today (I am so proud!) each pup received an official diploma with their name and a new toy and a bag of treats! We signed up for Puppy 2. A six week session at a reduced fee. This is how to run a training school! Go Rogue! Ten Arfs for this amazing school! Arf, Arf, Arf, Arf, Arf, Arf, Arf, Arf, Arf, Arf....And a big fat Woof!

She was also very uneasy during all of her walks and endlessly scanned her entire surroundings. It was physically and emotionally exhausting for all of us. The phone consultation was fantastic. Gueseppe asked us a series of questions about her training to date, what we thought was causing her to be nervous and what we wanted to get out of training. We want to be able to travel with her and ensure her safety, was our ultimate goal. We enrolled in the 2-month package with Jett. She was reluctant to enter the building and Gueseppe got to see first hand what a mini Jett panic attack looked like. Our first session was focused on motivation, conditioning and rewarding the behavior we expected her to do. Training with a slip collar made a huge & positive difference in making sure our communication was clear up and down the leash. We used the agility equipment to help her overcome fears of walking on different surfaces. Each week, we got homework to build on the previous learnings and started to see how putting her into obedience brought Jett comfort. We started to see a new spring in her step. By the third session we had already started to see her make breakthroughs in confidence, clarity and calmness when arriving to school. This was when we started working with Tiffany, who was wonderful. She spent a lot of time training me on how to be clear in my communication without bending down and becoming tangled up in the leash. The training of the human gave me so much insight into how I was inadvertently reinforcing the feeling of panic for Jett and I've learned how to dial it way back. I could see and feel Jett's emotional growth. I think she also could feel me getting more relaxed. The major growth day was the day we did a walk downtown with her and Tiffany walked with us as coach. We literally faced every situation that had caused Jett and I to panic in the past. When we got back to the school, we were all so proud of Jett. At our last class, Gueseppe joined us and Jett was happy to show him everything she had learned. Jett has graduated now and we are continuing our work with pack walks, alumni training days and taking her out into situations that we would normally have shied away from. The bonding we've experienced with Jett has been an incredible gift. She used to drool (she gets carsick) at the idea of getting into the car. She now gets excited and puts her paws up so she can be lifted in. Long story short. This training was the best money we have ever spent on any dog training course. We have a small and mighty toolbox to ensure that we are successful in all situations. We have a stronger bond with our pup and our older Aussie is enjoying going on walks with her now. My confidence is much stronger and the gratitude we feel for Companion Canine coming to Jacksonville, OR is immerse.
