When I picked her up on 11/12/2025, she had diarrhea, had thrown up, and a day later ended up vomiting a piece of a toy. Liz showed no accountability and denied that anything like that could have happened at their facility. Instead of being helpful, she was condescending, dismissive, and told me that I needed to watch my tone. Liz kept asking me what would be helpful in this situation, but honestly what would be the solution if they cannot even take accountability that it happened while under their supervision? Liz stated that she didn't want to be rude and asked if I was so concerned why didn't I call sooner. I work 12-hour shifts and was continuing to monitor her symptoms and I called on my day off. I was genuinely taken aback by the entire phone conversation. I understand that unexpected situations can occur even at reputable dog boarding facilities, but the response I received felt dismissive and was not at all what I expected. When I told her about the vomiting and diarrhea, she brushed it off and said she "wasn't surprised" because of how excited my dog gets, even suggesting that maybe social play wasn't good for her because she can get overstimulated. That response felt unhelpful and minimizing. She asked for me to send her a picture of the toy and said she would go check to see if they had the toy that I described. She called me back and of course she said they did not have that toy there (which is what I figured they were going to say). What worries me most is that based on how the situation was handled, I genuinely feel that if my dog had been hurt or injured while at their facility, they wouldn't take any responsibility for it. Thankfully, my dog wasn't injured and threw up the toy piece the next day, but the lack of concern and support from the facility was extremely concerning. I'm genuinely disappointed to say that I no longer feel comfortable bringing my dog here. I truly wish there could have been a reasonable resolution, as I have no desire for any negativity or bad feelings.

People of Klamath Falls, you are so lucky to be near the best possible spot for boarding your pets anyone could hope for.

We left it on for four and on the fifth day took the cone off and the wound busted wide open. We took him in the next morning and they charged me thirty bucks for basic antibiotic cream and to say it's fine, leave the cone on for another two weeks. He has a hole in his dick. I'm angry they charged me so much money for nothing when their work was subpar in the first place.

I came here on a recommendation and have never been anything except happy with the wonderful job, Virginia, the owner does on my poodle. My dog is stand offish and doesn't like being around people, the exception is Virginia. My dog is a happy girl when she see's where we are. I absolutely can not believe the results when I get a call that my dog is ready to be picked up. Not only does the owner do a good job with the grooming, she keeps an eye on your pet's physical appearance and general health and let's you know if she see's a problem. Needless to say, I've been to other businesses in Klamath that groom dogs, but I've never been to one I like as well as I do this place. Pet Medical Center had been recommended to me but they wanted me to come in in-person and provide a $100 deposit before I could make an appointment for my dog, which seemed super weird to me. Another vet I called wasn't taking any new clients. Companion has good reviews on Google (4.3 out of 5 stars) (much better than on Yelp, which I didn't see until after my appointment). The front office staff, vet tech, and veterinarian I saw were all very friendly and took time to make my dog comfortable. The office visit fee ($70) was reasonable, and the facility seemed clean and comfortable. I'm super happy with them and glad I found our new go-to vet.

While shopping our puppy was in the trailer, when we came back there was blood everywhere. Turns out military jets were flying low over the trailer and spooked the puppy. He must have caught one of his nails on something and pretty well pulled it out. There we were in a strange town, towing a large travel trailer with a blood soaked, scared puppy. I did a search and found The Pet Medical Center just a couple of blocks away. I phoned and explained the situation. They told me to bring him right over and I could put the trailer in the parking lot. We carried him into the office, they were waiting for us and met us at the door. He was on the table in 30 seconds and getting treatment right away. I was worried about blocking their parking lot and was invited to put my trailer in an open field behind the office. We told Letty (at the front desk) that we were going to go into the trailer and make some lunch since we'd been on the road all morning. She volunteered to drive us to a local restaurant and pick us up when we finished eating. During lunch she called to say Ace was ready to go and doing fine. To top off the story we have pet medical insurance and they allowed me to use their computer and printer to print out a claim form, filled it out and faxed it in for me!! Baby has grooming nervousness so she is a little tricky. Shannon is amazing with her and she is getting better with each groom. We got through the shutdown, Shannon got us in quickly. The groom was as good as ever, so happy to have her back. I plan to bring my cat in for the first groom of his life. As for COVID, Shannon changed the layout and contactless drop off and pick up is set up. I watched her wipe every surface I came into contact with (I was masked, of course). Our poor baby came to her bleeding and looking an absolute mess (from another groomer who I will not name here- if you really want to know you can check my other written reviews) Friday night I was searching for a groomer for early Saturday. Shannon was quick to respond and informative and polite. Why we went with the other groomer: she could take us first and was $20 cheaper. I know, I know. We won't do it again, this is a brand new addition to the family and the grooming cost was feeling a little overwhelming because we already had spent so much. We were going to wait a few weeks to get her groomed but we realized how uncomfortable she seemed and I couldn't even brush her for all the little knots and matted bits. So, we got what we paid for. It's ok, though, because Shannon to the rescue. We called her from the car where we picked up our girl. When we realized she was bleeding, there wasn't really an option. The best part is that they don't keep your dog all day, they call me within 3 hours of her appointment time. They always look at her card from the last visit to see if I want it the same or modifications. You can even schedule through yelp which gives them an extra star because whenever I want to get in contact of course I think of it outside of normal business hours. The parking lot they are in is always busy, it's by the Denny's on blackstone and herndon. Perfect location if you wanna get some food, go to Costco, do some shopping and grab your pup. They even have a house dog, I cracked myself up bc one time I walked in the dog was in the front desk chair and the lady was talking to me from the back. But in my mind the dog was the receptionist talking to me.
