As is typical of this store, I began my search for this item and although I searched for it in a logical location could not find it or any similar product. As is also typical of this store, I had to go in search of customer service personnel to help me locate it. I located a surly individual in the fish tank area (large man with dark hair). He conveyed to me in no uncertain terms that he had no desire to help me (body language, tone of voice, words he spoke to me). He ultimately lead me to a location where the item I was looking for could possibly be. It was not there and this individual had no interest/desire in investigating why it was not there or where it might be located elsewhere in the store. I found nothing on the shelf he directed me to that would suffice for "paw balm". Just once, it would be nice to "shop" at this Petco and be able to purchase what one needs the same day (instead of always having to purchase what you need on Amazon and then wait for it to get shipped to you). This phenomenon is not the exception at this Petco, it is the rule. This same scenario has happened to me as a customer many, many, many times. 1. Items are supposed to be in stock at this store. 2. The item one is looking for is impossible to locate or does not exist in the convoluted mess of the store. 3. "Customer Service" personnel are impossible to locate and/or are surly and make no effort at giving one customer service. I am sooooo done with the Klamath Falls, Oregon Petco. IT JUST ISN'T WORTH THE EFFORT.

As a result my girls last moments on earth were her in my arms howling out in pain, not once but twice. The response from the tech performing the euthanasia.."oh. They do that sometimes '. The fact that she seemed so flippant and that this occurrence was the norm should in itself say YOU ARE DOING SOMETHING WRONG. After calling several times after this horrific experience I NEVER received a call back. Wks went by. While shopping our puppy was in the trailer, when we came back there was blood everywhere. Turns out military jets were flying low over the trailer and spooked the puppy. He must have caught one of his nails on something and pretty well pulled it out. There we were in a strange town, towing a large travel trailer with a blood soaked, scared puppy. I did a search and found The Pet Medical Center just a couple of blocks away. I phoned and explained the situation. They told me to bring him right over and I could put the trailer in the parking lot. We carried him into the office, they were waiting for us and met us at the door. He was on the table in 30 seconds and getting treatment right away. I was worried about blocking their parking lot and was invited to put my trailer in an open field behind the office. We told Letty (at the front desk) that we were going to go into the trailer and make some lunch since we'd been on the road all morning. She volunteered to drive us to a local restaurant and pick us up when we finished eating. During lunch she called to say Ace was ready to go and doing fine. To top off the story we have pet medical insurance and they allowed me to use their computer and printer to print out a claim form, filled it out and faxed it in for me!! Don't delay - this is the place to go in the Basin.

I come from a background as a medical transcriptionist, so I am familiar with a lot of medical information. I have found Dean to be an exceptional veterinarian. He is an excellent diagnostician and frequently knows the problem without giving my cat many expensive tests. As a surgeon, he is without equal in Klamath Falls. I remember a time when they were complaints, I believe from the shelter, that when Dean spayed a cat, they could not find the scar. If I recall correctly, they wanted him to tattoo cats that he had spayed. I don't recall the final resolution to this matter. At one point, I had to move to Nevada for a job. While there, it was necessary to have a cat spayed. The scar from that veterinarian ran the length of the entire abdomen. This was not necessary and would also put more stress on the cat. I was so happy to get back to Klamath Falls, we're Dean could take care of my cats. Dean now has more veterinarians working at the clinic. I'm sure they're all excellent doctors. However, my heart belongs to Dr. Dean Wilson.

I reached out to Lorie at Ichibone dog training after our family adopted a chocolate lab (mix) puppy. Throughout the years we've had experience raising/training two other family dogs but they were golden retrievers and this was a Labrador - very different energy! Lorie came to our home for a series of training sessions with us & our pup when he was 6 months old. The specific issues we needed help with were: leash walking, not jumping up on people, behavior in social situations with other humans, and other basic commands. What I really appreciated was Lorie's approach to watching each family (household) member (myself, husband, daughter & grandson) interact with our dog. Then she worked with each of us independently after assessing our individual relationships with our pup. She provided an individualized approach for each of us to use while maintaining consistent training cues and commands, for our puppy. After our initial series of in-home training sessions, Lorie also offered virtual sessions by phone and email, when I had some follow up questions. We even had her come back a year later for some in-home follow up work with our dog when he started barking at everything. She was always really relatable, fun and easy to work with, provided great suggestions to us, and even offered personalized videos to help us visualize what she was trying to teach us. I learned a lot from Lorie and have become a much better dog mom to a goofy but sweet lab!
