So when we did begin our search, I reached out to her and over the next six weeks, she patiently stuck with us was we film-flammed back and forth between renting and buying and back again. She always made herself available to us whether it be for a call or an impromptu showing we wanted to take in. Her husband Steve, a smart, genial guy who knows his stuff, is also an agent so for the one or two times our schedules just plain collided and we just wanted to check out a place quick, she was able to send him as her proxy. They eventually helped us get into nice little house that perfectly suits our needs. We feel very fortunate to have worked with both Angaleen and her husband Steve and would recommend them to anyone without reservation.

After more research of the Austin market, I developed more realistic wish list, and Angaleen was great then, too. She was aggressive enough that I succeeded in a multiple offers situation, but appropriately cautious in making sure I understood the comps and the offer itself. She handled a few difficult situations with the sellers on my behalf, keeping me in the loop and deferring to my opinions, but she was so great, I trusted her to make the right moves. In the end, everything worked out perfectly. She's the perfect combination of savvy and friendly, has great relationships with a bunch of helpful people, and I'd absolutely recommend her to anyone.

Having just moved to Austin, we didn't know what to expect in terms of purchasing a home and in what neighborhood, especially during a pandemic. We soon realized how knowledgeable Rhonna is of the various neighborhoods in Austin, having had over 30 years of experience as a realtor in Austin. Rhonna came highly recommended by a work colleague and a family friend who have both equally had excellent experiences working with Rhonna. Rhonna is also quite knowledgeable of the different components that go into purchasing a house, referring us to lenders, title companies, inspectors, and contractors for work we needed to get done on our new house -- Rhonna has a long list of contacts and all of our interactions with them have been excellent. She is fully involved in the process and is a strong advocate for her clients, especially during a competitive market such as the one we're currently in. We found the home we were searching for and we couldn't be more thrilled about it.

I had the displeasure of working with Steve Crossland both as a tenant and then we decided to buy…read morethe home we rented so as a buyer as well. Both experiences were rather unpleasant and I would recommend using anyone else for realty services. As a tenant Steve is extremely passive aggressive to a childish degree and trying to request any maintenance work the few times we did in the two years we rented was always a hassle and an ordeal. He was so unpleasant to talk to I avoided it most of the two years we rented and luckily only had to do so a few times. During the buying process our realtors worked with him and through him the buyer and we had several delays due to him not getting paperwork ready in time and they complained to us several times how unhelpful he was during this process. They had worked with him before but never had the issues with communication and gettings things in on time like they did during our process.

Steve is extremely rude, was extremely difficult to work with, was very belittling, and mansplained to me the role of a property manager when I have myself owned and rented out a house before. He tricked me into thinking that he was the kind of property manager that cares about working with people and their circumstances, which was one of the reasons I chose that house. He was very hard to work with when I had to relocate home to Colorado for a few months for brain surgery (and what I was asking was not a lot, not even to end the lease.) When the lease was over, I reached out for a scanned copy of the deposit check and he never got back to me. When I followed up over a week later to ask more sternly for the copy I was entitled to, he presumptuously assumed I was asking because of roommate issues and told me to leave him out of it. He was belittling, presumptuous, rude, and unprofessional. And this is on top of his general lack of help with maintenance requests and overall unhelpful attitude with inquiries over the 2 years renting from him. I'm praying he doesn't respond to this review and attempt to gaslight me or justify his poor behavior as he's done with other reviewers here. Do not rent from him if you want to be treated respectfully or professionally.

While I was always happy with service I got from the "other guys" ( a very respected local Austin Realtor) I often wondered if the service was worth 3%, especially as a seller. Turns out it wasn't. Their communication was clear and spot on from beginning to end. Our house ended up being on the market for less than a week, had multiple offers and sold for 10k over asking. We were confident in the pricing strategy, as Jovio's recommended selling price was actually higher than that which was recommended by a local, reputable luxury brand real estate agency.
